How did this song of Rafi Sahab become deadly...

50 साल से भी ज्यादा पुराना होने के बाद भी मोहम्मद रफी साहब का ये गाना आज तक कयामत ढहा रहा है.
ये गाना आज भी संगीत कार्यक्रमों और शादी-पार्टियों की जान बना हुआ है. जितना शानदार ये गाना है उतनी ही मजेदार है इस गाने के बनने की कहानी.
गीतकार हसरत जयपुरी को इस गाने के बोल लिखने की प्रेरणा मुंबई के एक नाइट क्लब से मिली थी. वो संगीतकार जयकिशन के साथ उस नाइट क्लब में तफरीह करने के लिए गए थे. वहां एक कैबरे डांसर की अदाओं को देखकर उनके मन में इस गाने के बोल कुलबुलाए थे.
हसरत जयपुरी ने नाइट क्लब में ही गाने का मुखड़ा सिगरेट के पैकेट पर लिख लिया था. संगीतकार जयकिशन ने भी इसकी धुन वहीं तय कर ली थी.
निर्माता एफसी मेहरा और निर्देशक लेख टंडन को पहली नज़र में ये गाना पसंद नहीं आया था. तब संगीतकार जयकिशन ने उन्हें भरोसा दिया था कि ये गाना तो कालजयी होकर रहेगा.
रिकॉर्डिंग के दिन जब रफी साहब ये गाना गा रहे थे तो वहां मौजूद शम्मी कपूर उछल उछल कर नाचने लगे.
कुछ समय पहले देहरादून के एक शादी समारोह में इस गाने पर डांस करते हुए एक अधेड़ सज्जन को हार्ट अटैक आया और तत्काल ही उनकी मौत हो गई. उसके बाद तो लोग इस गाने पर और भी ज्यादा नाचने लगे. लोगों ने इसे जानलेवा तो कहा लेकिन इस गाने को स्वर्ग का रास्ता दिखाने वाला भी मान लिया.

This song still remains the life of concerts and wedding parties. As wonderful as this song is, the story of its making is equally interesting.
Lyricist Hasrat Jaipuri got inspiration to write the lyrics of this song from a night club in Mumbai. He had gone to that night club with musician Jaikishan to have fun. Seeing the performance of a cabaret dancer there, the lyrics of this song resonated in his mind.
Hasrat Jaipuri had written the song's title on a cigarette packet in the night club itself. Composer Jaikishan had also decided its tune there itself.
Producer FC Mehra and director Lekh Tandon did not like this song at first glance. Then composer Jaikishan had assured him that this song would remain a classic.
On the day of recording, when Rafi Sahab was singing this song, Shammi Kapoor present there started jumping and dancing.
Some time ago, while dancing to this song at a wedding ceremony in Dehradun, a middle-aged gentleman suffered a heart attack and died instantly. After that people started dancing even more on this song. People called it deadly but also considered this song to show the path to heaven.
