Boba Fett was a Mandalorian warrior and bounty hunter. He was the only unaltered clone of the famed Jango Fett, created in 32 BBY as unit A0050, one of the first of many Fett replicas designed to become part of the Grand Army of the Republic, and was raised as Jango's son. Jango taught Boba much, training him to become a skilled bounty hunter as was his father-figure before him. In 22 BBY, Jango was killed at the Battle of Geonosis, which opened the Clone Wars. Just a boy, Boba was forced to grow up and took to traveling the galaxy. Later, he became a bounty hunter and took assignments from beings such as Jabba the Hutt, and achieved notoriety despite his young age.
Capture of Han Solo:
"There will be a substantial reward for the one who finds the Millennium Falcon. You are free to use any methods necessary, but I want them alive. No disintegrations."
"As you wish."
―Darth Vader and Boba Fett
Fett discussed using Solo to capture Skywalker on several occasions and, after one such meeting on Ord Mantell, Fett received word that bounty hunters in his own employ had managed to capture Solo over Hoth and were holding him at a remote location but by the time Fett arrived, Solo had escaped.
In his pursuit, he followed the Falcon to Cloud City where he informed Darth Vader of their destination. In response, Vader then sent a detachment of stormtroopers to infiltrate the city. Fett was followed by IG-88B, who he easily destroyed by setting a deadly trap. When Vader arrived, he forced the city's leader, Lando Calrissian, into a twisted agreement that left him no other choice but to betray Solo and his friends, including selling him out to Fett. After the capture of Solo and his companions, Lord Vader used Solo as a test subject for carbon-freezing-which, if successful, he hoped to use on Luke Skywalker in order to transport him to Emperor Palpatine. After finding that Solo survived the freezing process, Vader gave him to Boba Fett, who in turn, planned to hand him to Jabba for a hefty bounty. However, it would be several months before Fett delivered Solo to Jabba's palace on Tatooine, and his whereabouts during that time where unknown to Lando and Chewbacca, who scoured the galaxy for leads that would lead them to the bounty hunter.

Thanks man! We’re getting there slowly.
Nice video Kevdeo. And it would be great to watch a little video when it's time for you to repaint the helmet with some tips and tricks to improve it.
By the way, I really like your Arnolfo di Cambio Blade Runner whiskey glass :-)
Totally. Figuring out how far I’m going to take this one as we speak.
Without seeing your subscriber count, you gave me 1 million + subscriber vibes (take that as a compliment not an insult btw😂😂) nice vid
Thanks Joe!
Art boxes are a fool's game? I would beg to differ that great box art adds to the experience of receiving, opening, and enjoying said product. But I know what you mean... why obsess over the packaging when you can enjoy the actual piece. :) But actually I'm not crazy about this Boba Fett box art so never mind! Lol. Another good video and I like watching you unpack and expressing your thoughts while unboxing.
Also, good color choice for your tools. :) I love an industrial yellow.
I can't wait to see what you do with this beautiful helmet 😁. Also stay safe in these crazy times good man
this helmet is great. enjoyed your review on this. i have one in my collection. i have subed you :)
thanks! this one is a good score.
Great video
Thanks man.
Mine has a scratch on the visor as well, and the electronics don't work, however, that doesn't bother me too much, as it is just for display.
Crap. That stinks. My scratch isn't very visible given how its displayed, which is good. That visor material is super easy to scratch.
Did you manage to polish the scratch out?
Maybe the scratch in the visor is part of the "weathering". Or at best, tell yourself that! :-)
Thanks to Entertainment Earth for getting this thing shipped safe and quick.
Yep, more!! Haha
Hey loved the review and nice collection, this is my first time watching your channel.
My only questions are, if they still made the older helmets like stormtroopers and Vader?
Can’t find any and the ones I can are really expensive.
And Boba jump up in price by 40 on amazon yesterday. And is now out of stock.
And can you only get the BS lightsabers at Disney land?
Really like the removable blades they make.
I haven’t looked into this recently, to be honest. But my understanding was that they would not make the black series stuff continuously. I don’t know if these are actually a limited run, but it didn’t seem like they would be making infinite quantities of them. guessing it will be hard to find something like a Vader right now. If you like the Boba Fett helmet, I would definitely grab it while you can at this price. Even if that means shopping local to find one.
As far as the black series of light sabers, I’ve only purchased one, and that was years ago. I believe the black series light sabers were available for purchase outside of the park initially, but I don’t know if that has changed. I’m sure folks over at the RPF would have the answer to that
@@kevdeovideo just subscribed in shocked that theirs no sound I have the vader helment love it
What is your take on the EFX pcr Fett helmet?
The EFX is sharp. I had all but given up on that company, and I’m still hesitant to recommend them. They’ve pulled some very sketchy moves in the past.
@@kevdeovideo Yeah I hear ya. Pre ordered their Mandalorian helmet through chronicle collectibles so I dont have to deal with efx's customer support.
@@m4sh0oter Good call!
Yes I hate the visor material. It scratched with a lens cloth for crying out loud.
I know. That part is terrible.
Looks good! What kind of silver would you recommend then? :)
There are a couple potential options, I am going to do some testing and see what looks best on this helmet soon
So scale-wise, it looks a little... Big? Always hard to tell without the rest of the armour. What are your thoughts in regards to that?
I think it’s pretty close to the right scale. It does have a slightly wider shape than some of the other helmets I’ve owned, but I couldn’t tell you for sure which is more accurate. The proportions of this one to look good in person.
i bought this helmet yesterday but my head is big so its a very very tight fit the the "headband" inside the helmet, anyone have the same problem or know how to fix this? thanks
There are some makers out there who are working on alternate liners. Happy hunting!
What do you use to display helmets?
I usually make custom stands. But, a sturdy hat stand or mannequin head/display will also do the trick.
Interesting thank you very much.
It's boba fett. The visor was never going to be perfect.
