  • Sunday School: 3D Poxy vs GLW Series Ceramic Wax
This Sunday School, Frank covers the difference between Poxy and Ceramic Wax. Two of our most popular go to waxes, so what’s different about them? Although both are the same base wax, Poxy is a high heat resistant montan wax while Ceramic Wax contains SiO2 ceramic properties that give higher resistance to water and last longer.
Why or when would you use one over the other? This really comes down to if you’re using this as a business or depending on the protection you’re looking for. When it comes to a business perspective, you can use the two at two different price points. Due to the fact that GLW Series SiO2 Ceramic Wax does have more longevity, you can price it higher opposed to Poxy.

Poxy looks amazing especially on dark colours. The SiO2 wax i was a little disappointed with the finish to be honest.

Thanks a lot for inspiration and knowledge 👍 POXY is amazing stuff! I recently used the combo: 3D Speed + Poxy. The effect, gloss, touch, water beading and sheeting are simply amazing and beat the products of other brands.
Now I will apply 3D Bead it UP as a protective layer.

You need to fire the camera dude - he completely did not show the water beading on the ceramic wax side!!! W T H??!!!
You did a complete video to show the beading of water of the two different waxes and at the end, you didn't even SHOW IT !!!

It does look overcast, but why are you applying either product outside?

    Circles by hand = scratches
Circles by machine = no scratches?

And go over the same area by hand that was just done by machine. In any case, any time you’re touching the surface of the paint, I’d think you’re going to get scratches because you’re creating friction.
