- Me and the wife went to catch some parades on St Charles Ave and the crowds were very thick. We did not catch that much from the floats due to the amount of people. But we still had a good time. I must have one of those butterfly puppets!!! And I loved the float with the "dirigible plums" on it and the side of the float lights up and changes colors! The rubber duckies and bathtub were cute and creative as well!

I used to live in New Orleans for 7 years it’s one of the most wholesome pleases to be during that season. Everyone is there to have a great time! Definitely visit and don’t forget to HAVE FUN!

I have stopped caring about what I catch and just enjoy the sights, sounds, food and drink. If I can catch one medallion bead from the parades to put around my neck, I'm good. I give anything else away to kids around me.
