I think the thing with Unheard is that all the people who are dedicated to playing this game on Wipe day and being super into it absolutely paid for it, and Unheard probably drove off the more casual, average players, like those who didn't even bother with EoD to begin with.
I had EOD because I was really into this game but I started playing in 2018. To me the game just is not fun anymore. All the gear behind the tasks kinda ruined it for me.
Or it’s that all the people complaining aren’t playing the game and the people who didn’t care still play and bought it. That’s why all the streamers who swore it off bought it, because they realized the people who play the game and watch it don’t care and want to support BSG

@@3DProductions you must be some kind of crazy to think all the gear restrictions make the game more fun. The Lightkeeper and Lighthouse expansion wipes have been the game's lowest point fun wise.
@@waltertownshend5662 yes gear restrictions make the game more fun because now every single player isn’t running lvl 5/6 gear and meta ammo two weeks into wipe. A lot of these things were put in place specifically to extend the “early wipe feel” of the game.

Wow, a gun with iron sights that are accurate to real iron sights, holy shit. Jonathan Ferguson will be pleased XD For real though, real iron sights on some guns are insanely tiny holes that you gotta eye through lol
except the way optical processing works allows us to focus on things at varying distances rather than viewing the world 2 dimensionally, so staring down an iron sight isn't really that bad irl because with training, you can focus on your target beyond your ironsight + you have a second eyeball

i never expected factory to get exterior sections, so cool, but i think it was better as an interior only kinda map, imo. would have been cool to just add more interior expansions, but i don't hate it.
They doubled the inside area at least, the lower tunnels are great

I haven't played much of this wipe yet, but the two times I've been killed has been by Tagilla. The way he full auto beam you is a bit too much. One time I had 11 hits on him, mostly headshots, but he tanked them all and ripped me a new one. That one upset me. That Pst 9mm doesn't cut it lol.

The Tarkov community's ability to gaslight themselves into believing it's the player's fault the devs can't optimize their game is astounding, as someone who's been putting in the hours this wipe on a PC well above the site's recommended specs yet still not enough to run the game on moderately decent settings

The one gripe I have about the uzi is that they decided to make it closed bolt vs open bolt. Real uzis are open bolt
I thought it is open bolt in game though? The bolt seems to stay backwards when you pull it and you can't load ammo into the chamber.

@@bubbafett2328 tbf I don't care much for the Uzi specifically (well now I do because this is one of the few games where they also added the retro solid stock and stuff so now I can make a stupid goofy big long UZI) so I could be in the wrong!
It is open bolt
The gun is open-bolt - the Uzi has a return spring on its charging handle as the charging handle and bolt are separate components
The reason for this is to make use of a ratcheting mechanism that only allows the bolt to drop if it's already been fully seated to the rear to prevent accidental discharges without pulling the trigger (many other open-bolts will fire if the bolt is pulled back far back enough to strip a round, but not far enough to catch on the sear, thus sending it forward to fire one round) - the Uzi charging handle will only return forward if it's fully pulled to the rear first, ensuring the bolt is properly caught by the sear instead of allowing a potential negligent discharge

At first I was completely against Unheard, but now that they have given EOD PvE and some extras as well as reduce the upgrade to $50 instead of $100 I don't mind it as much.
I still haven't upgraded from EOD, don't know if I ever will. The only thing that I really want from unheard is the cultist jacket.

I do find it so funny how many people upgraded to Unheard. I mean $50 isn't an awful deal especially for a scav junkbox, a weapons case, and I think a ammo case all at start is so OP. However I no longer play PvP. tarkov current PvP is so unbelievably dogshit boring I would rather just play PvE and loot to my hearts content. Also Arena got a massive update so If I want PvP Ill just play that. I also bet most of the people who have not bought it just play PvE. I have a single friend with Unheard who loves PvP but all my other friends just play PvE and are still EOD.

Tbf, anyone who actually cares that much about UH Edition just stopped playing entirely. So everyone who you run into is someone who doesn't care. And if they don't care, there's a distinct probability they end up buying it.
My whole group quit playing Tarkov because of the Unheard nonsense. No plans to ever go back but I'm always down to watch some gout-ridden gameplay.

lol i hate tarkov players that swear every player is a rat or cheater. so far everyone has been a player that heard him coming and stopped and waited, at yagers camp, at mechanics, literally everyone. a rat is someone who is in a bush or doesn't leave their spawn or extract camping. someone who runs to a spot then hears u coming, then stops and waits is just an intelligent person.

Why does BSG love to make maps that are just way too dark? The new factory looks fun but I'm so glad I am only watching EFT and no longer playing myself. I'd hate to run around these dark areas.
Buy a flash light , the darkness allows for stealth , if you want to negate that buy a flash light.
Maybe they have weird monitors in their studio where everything is too bright 😂
I really don't know what everybody is on about. I can see much much better in new factory. Are there some new dark spots and hiding place ? Yes, but most of the map is brighter and has a lot more colour contrast than previously. Spotting people in Factory is much easier now imo.

... Just realized - I'm SO over EFT! The game is just long queues, infuriating jank, slow gameplay, pointless quests and objectives - and it mainly awards the people who just sit in corners - or cheats. It's actually a horrible game with some good aspects which you keep telling yourself are better than they really are to justify playing it to yourself. Actual BS game! Look at your damn face m8... Are you having fun? This is not how you look when you are having fun Aqua. The only time you smile is when you guys joke with each other! It's just draining... and a few new weapons and additional parts to the maps doesn't make up for it.
