I'm confused why you don't like them from the same spot. Whether or not players wait for smokes to bloom ct players can always attempt duels from jungle to ramp, even if it means walking through the smoke. The difference between the first and second smoke blooming is like a second or less. In that time players cannot scale site fast enough that the jungle smoke blooming later matters. The jungle smoke only starts covering plausible angles once players are beyond Apex. On an A site take players should basically always throw right side smokes (stairs and jungle) and molly palms. I've heard in cs2 many teams are not throwing ct smoke as the map control is more important than the early negative duel. If someone is playing ticket they are probably an awper and should be flashed off the angle. Theoretically you could throw a ct smoke way before everything else so it ends up fading long before jungle and stairs do so that you can take site easier and also have that area open up in time.
im not a big fan since no one ever waits for jungle to pop, no matter how fucking simple it seems even at 2500 elo these retards are going out and dying to the guy that is already posted bench, that extra second is the diference between a 4v5 and a 5v5 retake, and yes, in most cases, cts are not gonna swing for a ramp peek but it happens so much in my games i've already given up on 1 man lineups, tldr im so done with people dying to a bench peek
@@zsuwu I'm still confused on the timing. Are smokes being thrown as players are walking out or before they peek? Are there no flashes getting thrown as t players peek ramp for the first time? I can't understand the gap you're talking about.
@@drago-rach people go out as the first smoke blooms, thus giving cts a 1 or 2 second window to peek, and yea flashes get em most times but the time a flash pops early or is late is when someone dies ramp
