You can tell nun if these kids experienced the value of true love . And you can tell that because of that , he doesn’t know how to really show his love even when he so desperately wants to . This babyboy, and all of his siblings needs therapy way deeper then 45 minutes to a hour on stage in front of cameras and an audience. That change isn’t gonna just happen over night , but I’m so happy he was able to reflect and learn from this experience.👏🏽

The older brother loves them, but he more old school, prob a different generation. he more believes in submissiveness and he believed that the father would listen to him and change hhis ways. he prefers family intervention instead of getting the law involved. he believes he can solve the problem but if he could the abuse wouldve stopped llong ago. The first brother that spoke is so jovial and he is one of thse who can smile over pain and easily move on but the other eldest and the middle they will be at each other all the time, similar personalities but different perspectives. Hey. I hope you see this message. I understand everything wrote. I was parentified as a child. For instance, I would get beaten if my siblings didn't do their homework or shower. Kids being kids, they were uncooperative. So, I would hit them when they didn't want to do it.
Then, I realized one day that I just lost at the lottery of birth order. It wasn't my siblings' fault. So, I stopped being angry at them and started protecting them from our mother ( I would keep their secrets; I would laugh and make jokes at their expenses ; etc).
Today, they are closer to me than they are to our parents (who hate that).
So, I still get blamed for what my siblings do or don't do. But as adults, they now tell me to not worry and that it is not about me.
My mother resents the fact that I am different from her. I refused to do things in the name of tradition. She also resents the fact that I have more soft power over my siblings to than they do. But eh, I worked hard for this trust and the bond my siblings and I have. With the help of God, I orchestrated this status quo.
I accepted that my childhood sucked and it was not my fault nor my siblings'. Now, I intend to avoid passing the generational trauma at all cost.
I hope you can make peace with your siblings.

I’m last born out of 4 so I’ll never know what it feels to be the oldest sibling…but I somehow feel the pain. The oldest seems like he was scarred and traumatized at a younger age. Sadly the 3 siblings just band together and isolate him more putting him deeper in the thoughts he learned when he was raised was raised. So the. It just always becomes arguments and no understanding. And he just treats his sister and brothers badly and they have the right to not want to be around I’m because they don’t understand his trauma. This is just so sad but I think just talking everything out is the key for them they still all seem very loving

That made me tear up. It hit home in some ways. Being the youngest of seven, I was mistreated in my older years after my parents passed away, and I really believe it is because my older siblings think that I had different parents then they had experienced. The only difference is that I learned to maneuver my relationship with my parents differently.
