    Salut, Alexa ! I have seen a couple of your videos so far and I really love them, they are very useful to learn vocabulary and phonetics, but as a little suggestion, I think it would be great if you speak French during the whole video, that way we get used to the accent, to common sentences, to grammar details, and we can also improve our listening skills. In my particular case, I'm a native Spanish speaker and even when I can speak English, it gets really hard to manage all three languages at the same time xD. Thanks for taking your time to do this. Bisous.

I find I have no problem with the nasal sound "on" except when I want to say "non"; instead of keeping the nasal sound, I inadvertently switch to longer "o" sound. How can I train my mouth to keep this nasal sound with an "n" in front? Merci, bisou bisou.

    • @missionsabotage
      @missionsabotage 7 лет назад +1

      When in front of "b" or "p", "on" is written "om" but is silence prononced "on".
      For exemple : nombre, sombre, tombe, pompe
      The same happens with in, en , an : timbre, tempête, ambre
      "bonbon" si an exception where the "n" remains.

    • @Luke64557
      @Luke64557 6 лет назад

      Sorry but "la leçon est bien" is not good French. " la leçon est bonne or c'est une bonne leçon" is quite correct. In French the adjective "bon" is used in all circumstances and not only for food.

    • @Luke64557
      @Luke64557 6 лет назад

      You make a complicated thing from a simple one. "bon" is correct to say that a lesson is interesting. People who read your explanations must be very confused and lost. Here are two links with the use of "bon" in plenty of circumstances. www.linternaute.com/dictionnaire/fr/definition/lecon/ fr.wiktionary.org/wiki/bon By the way, the number of links you obtained with "bien" on Google doesn't mean that you are right. ;-)

    • @Luke64557
      @Luke64557 6 лет назад

      Waouh, Camille Beaupin ! On dirait que la pseudo professeur de français à pris un coup dans son orgueil ! Il vous est manifestement difficile de reconnaître vos torts dirait-on.
      Alors sachez mademoiselle que je suis moi-même francophone bien que je ne m’appelle ni Dupont ni Durand et que je connais bien ma langue maternelle. Je ne prétends pas la maîtriser complètement mais je peux néanmoins aider une personne à comprendre ses fautes de grammaire ou d’orthographe de façon simple et sans l’entraîner dans un dialogue de sourd.
      Je comprends donc très bien le sens des liens que j’ai posté et que ce soit du figuré ou pas, il est évident que dire « la leçon est bonne » est tout à fait correcte et est du bon français.
      Si vous faites autant d’histoire en apprenant le français aux hispaniques, ils ne doivent pas avancer très vite dans leur apprentissage.
      Je ne mâche pas mes mots car le ton méprisant que vous prenez pour vous adresser à moi en voulant à tout pris avoir raison ne me plaît pas du tout. Dire que je ne comprends pas le sens des liens que j’ai posté en pensant que je suis un étranger et que je ferais mieux d’apprendre le français avant de poster quoi que ce soit est très parlant sur le mépris que vous avez envers les gens en général. C’est représentatif des gens qui se croient supérieurs en tout point et l’humilité ne doit pas faire partie de vos qualités premières.
      Si vous étiez vraiment enseignante, vous ne supporteriez certainement pas qu'un de vos élèves mette votre parole en doute. C'est un comportement des vieux enseignants qui pensent avoir la science infuse et qui refuse d'évoluer. Je vois que vous êtes jeune mais votre mentalité est d'une autre époque.
      Je vous cite : "bon" and "bien" is not easy. It seems that you don't master it, but this is not because of me!!! In French you can say: "le cours était bien" or "c'était un bon cours", but NOT "le cours était bon". Le sujet du débat que vous avez lancé était une simple correction de la phrase de monsieur John George Murr (un débutant) qui avait écrit « le leçon est bon ». On parle donc bien de « leçon » et pas de « cours » car en français il y a une différence entre ces deux mots. J’ai juste essayé d’aider une personne et vous, vous avez juste essayé de montrer que vous aviez raison et pour continuer d’avoir raison vous avez changé en cours de route le mot « leçon » en « cours » et de plus, vous avez changé le temps de la conjugaison qui était au présent à la base.
      Vous êtes tout à fait le genre de personne qui démotive les apprenants en les abrutissant avec des détails de grammaire au point de les dégoûter de la langue.
      En effet, la langue française est très compliquée alors ne compliquez pas ce qui est simple et aider les gens plutôt que de les embrouiller.

Bisous.
