Nice flight, brave man i will say that. I figured it was 25.2 km round trip. 7.7 miles out. That's exceptional for such a small drone. I would have brought it down a little sooner from 81 meters height. Try going to the left of the last village, interference might have caused the disconnection from power lines wi fi etc. You pushed it about a far as you could go. Entertaining good job bro

EM radiation from little town at around 12500 probably caused the disconnect. But it’s still amazing the FPV was working so far out on a consumer drone.

Firehouse have a L.A.N.D module that beeps when is 4 min without movement in ground, good for recovery on bushy area. I ordered one only $16

Super fantastic documentation of a world record flight. Definitely enjoyed your commentary as it provides a template for anyone wanting to try to best your attempt. Man...a lagoon with alligators being part of the risk to your flights recovery of the drone if it were to crash, and scaling the roof of your home for the added vantage point in 100 + degree temperatures, sure adds adventure and thrill to watching this video! Thanks for sharing from such an interesting location. Try to stay well.
Try flying at 12m/s!
Also, your RTH activated because your signal strength was too low for too long.
You can get better signal strength by flying higher.
If you had done that, you could have had better strength, & you could have flown farther.
Also, make sure to switch off any devices, like your smartphone because they can emit signals which can also interfere with your signal strength.
You could have cancelled the RTH & raised your altitude, & continued going.
Maybe, try all these things next time?

It appears that the compass in your controller malfunctions in the last 5 or so minutes, as the controller appears to be pointed away from the incoming drone. Is there any explanation for the compass showing this on the screen recording. Thanks

Great flight. Made it home by the skin of your teeth! :) Looks like 12.5 KM is about as far as the Mini 3 allows you to go. I have seen other DJI drones with similar hard limits. You need to pick up the new Mini 3 (non-pro) as the battery life is longer without the obstacle avoidance. Note: On the Mini 3 Pro, even when you disable OA, it is still active & consuming the same amount of power. That's why you see no improvement in battery life when OA is disabled.
I'd read this enlightening comment about the OA consuming power even if powered off for the first time ever when I checked the writer's name and noted it is none other than Dirty Bird the Baltimore Oracle of Long Range Litchi Sorties.
If Dirty Bird says OA is dead weight and a power draw that continues to limit the Mini 3 Pro's range even when switched off, there can be no better reason to buy the Mini 3 and not the Mini 3 Pro. I will now bide my time waiting for the upcoming Mini 3 SDK release to get conjured into waypoint mission gold by Litchi's alchemists, before snagging the Mini 3 and some plus batteries,

If you go into battery info in the safety settings and scroll down you’ll see battery info and if you click on that it tells you the voltage and the battery cycle(how many times it’s been charged)

Close to 13 km but just shy, good try you almost made it. Furthest I flown is 15 km with my mavic 3

I have watched quite a few distance record attempts with the Mini3 using the powerful optional "Plus Battery", but you sir, are the Boss of Bosses, The Godfather of Distance Drone Flight, with this epic voyage your Mini 3 took for the honest world to see.
Until I watched this video proof, I never knew that ANY drone could continue flying for so long with the battery we'll below 10%. Also, I am still scratching my head trying to figure out how you flew a Mini 3 for a 26 km round trip. Is this legit? Did this drone really cover 26 km on a single battery charge? How on earth did you accomplish this feat? Was this a stock Plus Battery, or did you modify the battery for greater capacity?
hello sky brother thanks for your comment. The flight is 100% real and the battery is original. The trick is to fly the drone in a place that has a good signal and the wind must be very low. and you must start the flight against the wind so that when you return the wind will help you. I have reached 12km more than 30 times but I am not going to post the same video that many times. Bueno el mini 3 todavia tiene problemas con la señal pero si vuelas en un lugar abierto como en el playa o como en este lugar de este video la señal es exelente y otra cosa si tienes el control dji rc la señal es mas devil todavia. Por eso en lugares donde hay interferencia yo utiliso el rcn1 es mas fuerto la señal. Y en lugares bien abiertos utiliso el dji rc. Cualquier pregunta me dejas saber

Với độ cao thực tế như trong Video ( đoạn đầu film) ,thì đồng hồ báo độ cao có lẽ đã sai quá đáng : 1,4m ??? Theo kinh nghiệm của tôi thì độ cao thực ra ít nhất cũng phải trên 20m !

I don’t understand why your RC controller shows that the drone is flying only 1.4m high
my friend the drone detects the height from where it takes off not from the real ground. For example, if you are on a mountain and the mountain is 1000 meters high and you take off your drone at the top, the drone will tell you that it is 1 or 2 meters high because the drone detects the height from where it takes off. thanks for comment

My limit is about 3000 meters no matter where I fly before she loses signal. Doesn't matter if I am rural or even over water. This is in FCC mode. Don't see how it is possible to get the kind of distances implied here.
Implied?? He does it .maybe some models perform better than others. I have had mine out to 10km
@@djidroneadventures4059 Some probably do but the distances he is getting would require not only more power but a better antenna system in both the drone and the transmitter in my opinion.
no way you can fly that long with the battery plus.
You only get like 10 min extra flight time from the normal battery sou you could fly like 15 km with the plus battery

Interesting that forced landing the drone’s speed drops to around 7-8m/s. Maybe that’s the magic number? Too bad DJI excluded cruise control from the Mini 3. Would be interesting to test at different speeds.

13 Km is the limit for all DJI units. I am surprised that you can get that distance at such low altitudes. Your MINI 3PRO is the most over worked Mini in the world. For sure you will eventually lose it.
