I don’t know how I stumbled on this video but can’t wait to check out a few more! If this is only your second pipe, you gave me some hope to give it a shot. That pipe is epic, man!
I know it was frustrating but the non-symmetrical shape is what makes it look like Mother Nature actually grew it from a seed. EPIC my friend! Keep up the great artistry and creating! I hope you do a GAW of one like this made by you! Thanks for sharing what you’re creating and smoking here on YTPC!!!
I have gone back and forth on it... I hate the fact that I had to resort to it, but I also really had no choice. The briar was injured in a pretty profound way. Its as though an animal bit it. I had 3 choices; abandon the pipe completely, carve it up/rusticate the entire pipe, or rusticate a portion of it and leave the rest of the grain smooth to show off the beauty of a plateau piece of briar.
That is a beautiful pipe brother. You should make one for one of your GAW Tuesdays. Personally I think everyone would love that I know I would if I won it.
Hi know this is Old video but on the knives you use Mora are very cheap to day and all of the imperfection in the wood can be hidden with no trace save all fine dust don't throw it away mix with some pva glue as long hole not gone right through the bowl if you do get any thats bad drill through and make dowels for it then cover using same technique then sand perfect
I would be very interested in purchasing a pipe from a new pipe builder that has such a bright future. Number your pipes for the future collectibility. Beautiful pipe to hold and smoke!
I was not aware that there is such a thing as “American Hand Gestures”. Also, typically whenever a person is presenting a video where they are performing a task that involves some sort of non typical skill they are met by a lot of comments asking about the process. To avoid this, and to add value to the video, most people will provide commentary for the viewers benefit. Thanks for watching.
As much as you criticized yourself, this pipe came out beautiful. I would buy one.
Very nice job! I love freehand pipes and your first two are great for your first time
From Tucson, AZ? Cool!
What a wonderful job. Amazing! Congratulations!
Looks great. You did a fantastic job.
I also play drums and smoke pipes. Thank you for the inspiration.
That pipe is amazing.

So Amazing
Man, I would be proud of it if I owned it 👏👏👍☑️. Sometimes we all become a little bit of a perfectionist in all that we do.😊
Very nice.
I think a partial rustication is perfectly OK with a plateau topped pipe. Looks great!
Take care!

Yeah, it's a bummer that it was so pitted though. It is what it is, I suppose.

Great shirt. Drummers from a different mother!
What is it with us drummers that want to make pipes lol?
This is the most handsome pipe I’ve ever seen! How would one order this model exactly? What price? Thanks
Just needs a stamp now!
Nice. Do you have any for sale?
NO SMOKING ☠😛
Where can i get that pipe like that
Is that die or polish
So how do I get a one? I'm serious
I don't have the sound on. But I can tell by the hand gestures and probably unnecessary commentary, that your american. Nice pipe though. ..beautiful.

Please stick to pipe making and talking.. Leave the background music OFF! It is just to "busy" for background.
👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤝
