Not everything about religion is bad. But, religion and cultism has a way of making normal things and twisting it to some degree or other. An example of each. Love one another. A good teaching.---------If you love someone this religion disagrees with (color, gender, nationality, another religion) you are evil. Bad teaching. In general terms, every religion I'm aware of (former clergy here) has serious flaws regarding doctrine and human nature. Think of a Jewish Rabbi performing a bris (Google it) male genital mutilation and done properly the foreskin is held in the teeth while the cutting is done. Imagine how sanitary that is. Female genital mutilation is also religious based. The sewing of the labia together save for a small opening. Hideous. Ever wonder why it's always boy choirs especially in Catholic countries, but all over Christianity. Because girls are not as good as boys. Look up castrati or castrato. Eunuchs were common to most ancient cultures as a way of punishment or keeping the royal gene pool safe. Don't remember any religion coming against the practice. Who said everything about every religion is bad? Religious people do good things. To think that those good things are done because of a belief in fairy tales is what's bad about every religion.
