Mr Linden is a great example of how an individual can build a bridge of international understanding between cultures. It's a testament to to better human understanding, tolerance and cooperation. How l wish political leaders could emulate and foster this kind of approach. Great powers like the US would be well respected if it were to follow this path instead of its current belligerent, selfish, uncooperative, combative and patronising stance. Mr. Linden has my greatest respect and China owes him greatly too for what he has accomplished there.

I worked with Brian in the 90's both of us being in international education and always impressed by his stong sense of inclusion and his respect for cultural sustainability. He truly has contributed to a better planet and listening to him brought up so many good feelings about individual contributions. My interest in Yunnan is now totally spiked. Way to go Brian!!!!

Oh! I met Brian on Córdoba, Argentina. He worked as a sales and marketing manager for a language school in the U.S.A. We travelled to a school in Florida with a group of young students. A pleasure to listen to him talking about such an amazing project in China!

Great Interview. I agree with Brian in so many ways.
Yunnan Province and Dali are one of my favorite places. I hope I have the opportunity to meet Brian someday.

Great! Build a bridge over troubled water. Your interview is great. It covered both ancient and World War II, and the recent last 40 years of modern Chinese transformation history. One leads to another, one laid a foundation for another. I hope your work at Linden Centre will contribute to the next stage of China's integration with the world.
