    Hi,
    Thanks for the video!
Is there a way of getting a flagged email task moved to a plan? Essentially having the email task in the plan associated with that email.

Hello ik2600. Please accept my apologies for my slow reply. I don't believe what you are asking is a supported feature. My assumption is that Microsoft consider a flagged email as a 'personal' task. Plans are meant for team-work.
But.. I just did a Google AI search for this, and the following steps to create a task in Planner were suggested, using Power Automate. Let me know if this works.
      1. Start the flow when an email is flagged.
      2. Get your user profile information.
      3. Create a task.
      4. Use the email subject as the task subject.
      5. Put it in a bucket.
      6. Assign your Office365 User ID to assign the task to you.
      7. Include a preview of the email body.
      8. Create a URL that links to the email in Outlook online.
      9. Clear the flag.
Heres a link to the article with step-by-step instructions:

For some reason files attached to a task in planner are being opened only in browser version instead of directly in Teams. On user end the "File open preference" is set to "Teams"
    Any tips ?

Hi! I dont have a specific answer for you I'm afraid. What I will say is that the New Planner in Teams is new. Developments are improvements are coming later in 2024. Maybe the web interface will solve some of the missing Teams features. I hope this helps.
