    I would like a video that demonstrates how tasks or events appear in Sharepoint, Teams, Outlook, etc. as one project or plan. Also, do I need to create a project in Project to have it appear as a plan in Planner?

    Hi Scott, great video, thanks. Is there a column/label that tracks when a task is overdue/late? I notice you set up RAG labels, is it possible to link RAG labels to a status or alarm?

    I have a question, in the old ms project you could print the planner (gantt) view in a pdf or paper. Is this also possible with the new planner. And if so can we put on a titel, project nr. or projectleader name

    Great video! Do all members of a plan created using premium need to have premium to access and update the plan?

      I’d always say to refer to Microsoft licensing - but it was confirmed that Planner Premium licensing is required for people who manage and create the Plan, for people who are resources in the Plan, they will not need Premium Licensing and can use the free Planner Basic licensing. Hope that helps 😄

    Great video and overview of Planner Premium. Do you know if you can share Planner Premium project plans with external users?

    looks like there is nt a way of locking dates on a task, members or people the task is assigned to can change start and due dates, not ideal when you are trying to control things.

    ive noticed the quick action icons do not work for premium plan tasks in planner (my tasks), so to add a comment see other comments and attachments to a task is a pain. at the moment it looks like you need to use a team group and view in teams rather than the planner app in teams. come on MS finished it off allow us to see comment and attachment for premium plan tasks like we do for basic plan tasks

    For the planner, there is also a dedicated application in Power App for portfolio management. Is there a chance you could say more about this solution?

    My initial struggle. How do I acquire Planner Premium or Where do I find Planner Premium in the Store/ Admin console

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  4 месяца назад

      Sure - you need to purchase a license for Planner Plan 1 under the products in the Admin Centre and then allocate that license to yourself and give it a few hours to update and that will get you Planner Premium! 😄

    Firstly, GREAT video and I've always enjoyed your content. I think you do an excellent job of introducing the capabilities and developments for 365 products. Having said that... I didn't realize how cumbersome, unwieldy and behind-the-times Planner (and Loop) were behind Notion. I've just been looking at Notion over the last 2 weeks and it is a STARK contrast of elegance and efficiency compared to those MS products I mentioned above. I am deeply embedded in 365 and really hope MS can make some giant strides forward in a somewhat timely manner. I WANT to live in a glorious MS ecosystem, but they sure are making it difficult :(

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  5 месяцев назад +1

      Well, that topic is a video in itself 😄… Planner Premium is basically Project for the Web - so it’s Project in disguise 🙌😊

    Planner is a good app but absolutely useless because there are no permission restrictions settings available. Anyone can do anything in a planner plan and mess things up or manipulate just about everything.

    • @your365coach
      @your365coach  3 месяца назад

      Sadly the permissions model is based on Groups which means that Members are granted access to edit or delete Tasks - no way around that sadly
