For some autistic people a coat can be a big sensory issue. I cannot wear noisy coats, or coats that feel restrictive. It may be the reason he doesn't wear a coat

Bill was born in Hope, AR but his mom moved him to Hot Springs when he was around 4. His mom was awesome. An excellent surgical nurse. Roger and I were class of '74 Hot Springs high. Glad you came to Hot Springs and you should come back during the summer and enjoy our water sports.

My grandfather used to get cases a bottled glass bottles of Hot Springs, Arkansas water and shipped it to Jersey. That’s the only water he would drink.

Bless this wax museum's heart; it's obvious a lot of work has gone into the presentations and there's lots to recommend visiting there.
Accuracy in the faces maybe isn't one of them. 🤣 I was so impressed at your ability to decipher who some of these statues were. I feel like this museum could sell themselves as "celebrities after meth use." 😂

This was truly a treasure, I agree. Thanks so much for taking us here. What a creepy place, I am a big fan of your visits to wax museums. The WWII setup was the best along with the gambling items.
The no horror claim, and then ending up in an assassination scene is definitely not what I was expecting😭.
Hot Springs water is an average of 4000 yrs old. There are hot and cold springs around town. I like Happy Hollow on Fountain St. A cold spring with a touch more bicarb than the others. Grew up on this water since we lived in the country and our well water had too much iron. We had 3 5gal. glass jugs to fill every few days.

lol it wouldn’t be a choose your adventure if there wasn’t a hiccup😂. Just like our vacation we were in Huntsville Alabama visiting my sister when our truck decided to puke the motor ( the motor blew up.) we were able to limp it home. So it’s all good as long as you had fun and have memories!

I loved the longer video today. I'm glad you made it safely to Jackson! I'm in the Houston area and it was only 23 when I woke up this morning. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice, but then it gets cold again, and after that, we're looking at a lot of rain. It's just as well that you're heading southeast. Hopefully you can find somewhere warm and dry to have some adventures!

I live about 2 hours away and just went to this museum like 2 months ago. It’s always so funny to walk thru.
Many of the faces are not well done, but the costumes and props are excellent. I'm surprised such a good museum is in that small town.
BTW, the two Elizabeths are first cousins, many generations removed, as they are both descendants of King Henry VII.

My family and I visit this museum in Hot Springs often! A guilty pleasure. Edited to add: We stayed in the Arlington Hotel for our anniversary and inquired about staying in the Capone Suite. A TWO YEAR waiting list!

Jacob, I hate to tell you this but you’re following this front that came through it started out up north western north I’m in Wyoming in the last week it’s been in the negatives and it’s slowly going down toward the south so you’re going with it so don’t expect it to be warm any time soon. 🥶. I've heard they pick the names from royals/people in history that they want their child to be like, it was said on a TV programme/documentary about the royals.

Hey Jacob, it snows in Jackson, MS usually once a year, at least when I lived there in the eighties! It even snowed 4" in Pensacola, FL the first year I lived there ('84) and they blamed me for bringing it, LOL!

Wax museums were a big part of growing up in the 60’s in New England . We hit them all. I can remember going to my first wake when I was 7 and thinking it was part of a wax museum. Now looking back it was bizarre. Thanks for bringing back strange memories.

Just a bit of a correction for you: Bill Clinton was born in Hope, AR and live there until the family moved to Hot Springs when Bill was 7. Elizabeth I of England was Henry the VIII's daughter by Anne Boleyn, Henry's 2nd wife (he had he beheaded). Elizabeth I reigned from 1558 0 1608. Elizabeth II reigned from 1952 - 2022.
The Kress Store sign on the building across from the water dispenser is a TOTAL classic, n if the store us STILL open, a landmark from the good ol department stores of yesteryear!!!
Maybe that was Renfield that you thought was Dracula? Hard to tell. Also great video and I’m glad you decided to go south east. Here in New Jersey we got about 4 inches. Last year I think we got less half an inch.
