    I had bought one of those hand held depth sounders after seeing Delos use one, has come in handy in sailing around that same area as seen in my video "Sailing Wizzard Christopher Hinds" The sounder is good to find channel to keep from getting stuck, or after getting stuck, or where to place an anchor that you will be able to retrieve by getting right over it

Well worth the extra money. Bear in mind not all straw is created equal. Spring for the best quality. You won’t be disappointed.

    Delos got me started watching sailing videos, so in a sense, they got me to you guys. Sadly, Delos has lost me as a viewer in the last few years. But you guys are doing really interesting things, and you’re fun to watch! Just wondering if you are planning to live on a boat
    permanently. I believe that as you get
    older there will be a point when you may get too tired and old to be constantly
    fixing the boat and living in cramped quarters everyday. What about having children and saving for
    retirement as you get older? I live in
    the Bay Area and I purchased an old 1300sqft home for close to $1M which is the
    average home cost in that area. I took me
    many years of saving and investing to be able to put the 20% down as I had to
    give up on most vacations and luxuries. The
    reason why I say this is that housing prices continue to going up higher and
    higher everywhere every year to a point that home ownership will be out reach
    for most Americans. If you do decide to leave the sailboat life and buy a
    house, how are you guys planning to afford it by then since your channel is all
    about sailing?

    • @MJSailing
      @MJSailing  3 года назад

      What works for one does not always work for everyone. If we do ever decide we want a home to live in, there is one in Arizona I will one day be inheriting. When the day comes which it becomes mine, we can then decide how we feel about boat life and if we're ready to give it up.

    First and last video I will watch. I looks like you are plagiarizing the creative from the Delos tribe. People who are un-original and make subpar content with never spotlight my viewing angle.
    I hope you Follow your dreams and are successful.
    But don't build it on someone else's coattails.

    • @MJSailing
      @MJSailing  3 года назад

      Last weekend when I was hanging out with Kazza I told her about your comment .... and she just looked at me with a puzzled face and said "Doesn't this person know we're friends?". But *because* I don't have the camera on during any other time we're hanging out together and make it a point not to ride on other people's coat tails - no one would know this.
      But I hope you enjoy watching a fraction of what goes on in a creator's life and making assumptions on their behalf. 😘 ✌
