Instead of going straight to Nepal on a long haul flight, maybe take a few short airplane rides instead until you reach Nepal!
Basically take a 6 hour plane ride , stop for a few days and enjoy the destination your in.
Then go back on the plan for 6 hours, stop at a new place and enjoy that area for some time and so on and so forth until in a week/2 weeks, you reach Nepal!
