are you listening the SACD on the CD layer or the SACD layer (DSD) on a SACD player? Because most of the SACD's including MOFI's are hybrids having both layers. If you don't listen to it in DSD Hi-Res you're not really giving a fair comparison. Don Henley has a huge ego, just read Don Felder's autobiography, Heaven & Hell.
Rick Beato had the same issue too just talking about the Eagles on his channel but he fought it and the video was reinstated! 99% of the people on youtube are promoting the music of bands by playing clips and talking about them but some artists just don't see it and it's a sad affair they think in such a negative way.

Love the 'One of These Nights' album, maybe The Eagles best. Do yourself a favor & listen to the first few Bread albums on RUclips, they are surprisingly rock oriented & extremely tuneful.
The Mo-Fi One Step and the SACD version of One of These Nights sound really, really good. The vinyl OGs have always sounded good too. The first Mo-Fi Van Halen One-Steps will be released later summer/early fall - that's if summer ever shows up. The SACD versions will be out 2-4 weeks ahead of that - as per ususal. The next Mo-Fi One-Steps to come out will be the Elvis, Eagles Hotel California and Eagles The Long Run, and then the first of the Van Halens' along with the Miles Davis Sketches of Spain.
I have Eagles ON The Border Hybrid SACD MOFI and it is great especially in a inexpensive Yamaha DVD Player that will decode it because I don't have an SACD Player
I agree with super fan. IMHO, SACD's often sound "contained" but usually the best experience short of vinyl. I just love the convenience of being able to pop it in my car, my home office or media room. So I put up with a more clinical experience.
Definitely true because when you buy this MoFi cd you are paying a lot more for it having the SACD layer than you would if you want to just buy a regular CD version. For most people, either the original CD or a newer remastered CD version should be good enough.

I also highly recommend Felder's book, but truthfully, there is a lot more evidence of Henley's huge ego besides the Felder book!
It appears you pair these two very close. I have a feeling if you hear the pure DSD layer- the SACD will sound more full.

If your player can’t decode DSD I believe it defaults to 16bit… in that case it wouldn’t sound any better than a regular cd. BTW love your channel 👍🏼
