@@mustangtonto5862 Hmmm. I don't think he was thinking that. He was still well within his limits. I have seen him fly much harder aggressive 3D than that.
Lovely model. Looked a little nose heavy though. I fly my 60 inch span Extreme flight slick on a 6s 3300. Do love the attention to detail and all the little touches on this model though. It's as if they've looked at the extreme flight version and thought ok lovely model but what things are annoying. And they've addressed them all. Servo wire holding. Easy wing fitting. Brilliant 👏
@@millerrc5829 what exactly makes it a better design? The only thing I see with these quick releases is more weight than thumb screws. So if they could make those quick releases lighter, that would be good.
@@michaelkrailo5725 I’m kinda in your same boat I don’t really like a quick wing release system in anything smaller than 60in, because it will most likely fit in most cars assembled. I will say it’s pretty nice to have when you do have to take the wings off. I like EF’s quick wing releases better cause no matter how much you lock and unlock em they won’t wear out. where OMP,s I would think that if you used it many times that the nylon tab they use could potentially wear out and make it feel loose. And if that were to happen I don’t know if they sell the nylon tabs separately or not. My opinion though thanks.
i have one of these in a different colour, very recent purchase. i notice you said manual but these planes dont come with a manual yet and i couldnt find anywhere to download one, im a bit worried about throws as im a sport flyer not a 3d flyer and i want to dumb down the elevator throw, i have the aileron ok, but on maiden the elevator was really twitchy, similar to yours on take off any advice much appreciated, also how did you fix the 2 bits that go from landing gear struts to fuse did you just glue them? great flying demo its a superb plane. cheers

No. This is designed and built light for electric power. The 74" and 106" are for electric/gas iactiverc.com/collections/planes/products/omphobby-74-edge-540-kevlar-reinforced-balsa-3d-airplane-arf
@@2.4g-rc Just to add that you do get some over arms in the kit that, when fitted to the stock arms, give you the large throws on the control surfaces that you need for 3D. I'm fitting those soon.

The skill to grab an unfamiliar plane and toss it around like that is amazing
Yeah...crazy. I was kinda doing the sensible maiden flight thing, trimmed out, a knife edge, a high hover...and then Steve does that !?
BUT, it was not HIS plane = nothing for him to lose. Except maybe a friend!

@@EssentialRC Yeah, you trimmed it out. Then he showed off with it. Looks like my kinda fun though. OMP makes excellent models.
AMAZING plane thanks for sharing Sir 🇬🇧👍🏼
My pleasure Mike!
Thanks for This! What nice Quality!
Wow amazing , the best quality 😍👍
Glad you think so!
That's a really nice plane. Very good quality. Thanks for the video Dom
Thanks for watching David!
Excellent Video. I like this one better than the Extreme Flight!
Thanks a lot!

Extreme flight now has quick wing release as well now and IMO a better design to than this.

hi where did you CG? I have been trying middle of the wing tube, but it seems tail heavy 6s 4000
Third of chord at the root of the wing or further back. Depends how you want to fly it.
@@EssentialRC thanks im not a 3d flyer plane looks so good
I'm waiting for this to get back in stock in the USA, until then I'll just have to watch video's of it.
Worth the wait I'd say 😉
In stock at BuddyRC but I can’t justify the $700 price tag when you can get an Extreme Flight for less and with much better support.
