You can respect him as an artist who’s doing his thing without thing he’s the best tattoo artist around, that isn’t being a hater.
It is what it is, he’s a good guy but being on one of those early tattoo shows elevated his name a lot. I don’t think Kat Von D is a bad artist but she is definitely overrated when you look around and see how many good or better artists there are who are just less known. This guy was one of the first artists I looked up when I moved to Florida and wanted Japanese tattoos, but I passed cause I like my artist’s drawings more. Doesn’t make you a hater that’s just talking shit.
