He was a great driver and seemed like a good and passionate guy. Unfortunate that things went like that. Wish he gotten a roll cage.

To give a little context to the situation, right when he was coming out of under the overpass, his engine blew leading to the oil spilling on the ground and making it on to the tires which caused him to lose control. Andre was a legend in the BMW/B58 community. Its unfortunate what happened and yes this could have been prevented if he took the right precautions to safety up the car but whats done is done. RIP 1STOCK🕊️

The race tracks are well maintained and debris are cleared from the tracks. Drivers are all professionals with years and years of proper training and are in protective cages and have all the protective gear, fire proof suits and hans neck protectors and a whole crew of rescue ambulances and firefighters. Not to mention they have the best mechanics and engineers working on their cars and have millions of dollar in budget for testing the cars. You can’t be seriously comparing the two as being equal. If he can spend thousands on mods, then he could drive a couple hours to an actual track or drag strip. He shouldn't have been street racing illegally.

@@daitsu2758 going 170 mph on a regular road is just asking for it. Doesn’t matter if it’s closed off. On the racetrack there are safety measures all around. The race tracks are well maintained and debris are cleared from the tracks. Drivers are all professionals with years and years of proper training and are in protective cages and have all the protective gear, fire proof suits and hans neck protectors and a whole crew of rescue ambulances and firefighters. Not to mention they have the best mechanics and engineers working on their cars and have millions of dollar in budget for testing the cars. You can’t be seriously comparing the two as being equal. You have to be absolutely nuts and reckless to be going 170mph on a regular New York City pothole filled street next to concrete barriers and utility poles. Smh. Hope this is a lesson to you.
