I don't see any problem as Skoda is being super aggressive towards India. They are even widening the network, earlier the prime focus was on Volkswagen.

I read somewhere that they are planning to launch a tad bigger car then Rapid. So technically it won't be a next version of Rapid, so can't expect it to launch in same price range. There are some news around launch of a CNG varient though.

Polo dont have much backseat and luggage space.. Rapid is a intelligent choice.. very big bootspace though fully stable.. equal to polo.. and trust me..its a practical choice

Kamil Khan abe chutiye I have Mercedes A class But Skoda superb bhi same feel deti hai. Skoda rapid has great buildup quality than tin Verna. Kuch Knowledge ki baat bhi kar chutiye.

I know its said as Czech republic but comes under parent volkswagen, uses same technology as whats there in volkswagen and so we call mercedes, volkswagen, skoda audi etc as a german car because of the fit finish and drive experience they provide
its not easy for company to have lot of engine and yeh bhi borrrowed from parent volkswagen india 1.0 tsi same transmission like vento and polo same interiors almost so called platform sharing in automobile industry just like kiger and magnite
