Quick thing on the destruction thing. The ISS Is nearly bullet proof up to something like a 14mm, and Mirco meteorites are traveling FAST, like 10000 m/s (32808 fps) fast as opposed to the the speed of M855 at 3020. No matter what gun you would be using it wouldn’t be strong enough to pierce a space station, I’m not sure about solar panels though.

You'd have to use an anzio 20mm. On the bright side, the weightlessness means you could carry it and all the ammo without being superhuman, and the recoil from firing the gun itself combined with a conventional propulsion system would let you dash around like a gundam.
Not much of a multiplayer person myself apart from coop but I like the idea of this game being a fan of the spaces stuffs also.

@SixtyEightWhiskey if you love this you'd love my project: best described as mario party except you do tactical shooter levels instead of minigames, surpising scientific accuracy with all the high-concept sci-fi gear, a lot of levels set in space, a surprising amount of real aerospacs design cues in the aesthetic, and the necissity for actual tactics: SWAT and Ready would just give you a low score if you tried to play them like COD, this thing will rapidly teach you that thinking you can run and gun just because you have a deflector shield like halo will end in less than a second.
Also, did you know that NASA and their british counterparts designed the spacesuits joints by looking at medieval armor? The tech and design principles are literally the same.

I really enjoy this game. I hope they keep it up with updates/content drops. There is only a handful of other games that feature zero g movement like this.

I really hope this gets a console release, I could definitely see it becoming a popular shooter despite it being very niche. (Although I’m sure that figuring out controls would be a nightmare)
