I have a suggestion, maybe you should make a video about the best lego technic remakes, such as the lego technic 42128 being a successor to the 2006 8285 tow truck
One thing to note about what you said about live axle suspension is that we actually last saw live axles in the doms dodge charger 42111 in the rear axle, and we last saw live axles for all axles in the extreme adventure 42069.
While the differential locking is revolutionary NOW, I think as a whole this set is still outweighed by its negatives. Maybe in a few years, after they have implemented differential locking a few times, Lego will have finally put out a set that is worth getting with this type of functionality. Also, by that time, they hopefully will know how to incorporate motorisation for completely different (non-driving) functions as well.
I just build mine and I think its a great set. You know who is to blame for the hate? your friend, the "legend" RacingBrick who criticized it for views on RUclips. That guy is a piece of work... you know this set is awesome, but he says its bad due to ridiculous reasons... LEGO should stop associating with him
I had overlooked this set previously because I thought it was just a pretty basic RC vehicle. I actually had no idea about the locking diffs which is really an amazing- if not at least essential- feature for any offroad vehicle. It's now been reduced to £200 in some placees which imo is a good deal. I just hope they continue to improve and add diff locking to future sets but perhaps with more powerful motors, I'm not a fan of the control+ motors at all.
@@ViperzDesign I've been thinking of getting the Audi, both are good sets but I think the Audi is just better value, including those exclusive new wheel hub pieces and the nice tyres. If money is no object then the Zetros beats the audi tho
@@Shorjok true dat but the zetros is only 50 quid more than audi and theres also the addition of the sliding bugatti gearbox pieces along with the locking differentials, not to mention that theres already videos on the zetros climbing slopes of up to 50 degrees in ideal situations which is outstanding. i could get planetary hubs that the zetros has and the red geared down differentials and make my own crawler but im not sure if i want to gamble that
im considering whether i should get the new 42160 audi rsq etron and buying some extra planetary wheel hubs or buying the mercedes considering that it goes for £200 and the audi is £150
Hei great review, About pricing of this set: i consider it overpriced at 300 USD... but if you wait for the right offer you can get this amazing set at an even amazing price :) i just bought one in Romania for 150 USD (750 RON - romanian currency) from an unexpected store (Carrefour). Sometimes if you ignore Lego official stores you can get great deals. Keep up your good work and as always ,Unbrickme, ... No pressure :)

lego isnt just something to build for fun or when your bored and have nothing to do it helps you learn and if you keep it up you could be a car engineer or something after learning all these functions like how a v6 engines work or something like that b
From an engineering point of view I can’t deny it’s terrific. The torque is amazing. But lookswise it just doesn’t have the wow factor and it’s slow. It seems unfinished and reminds me of a test bed or prototype. Your review was excellent but I’m afraid it’s a no from me.
Thanks! I mean, it's slow because it has the torque, which is a much better thing for technic sets! If it had more speed, it would stall at the most insignificant inclines, like the 42099 4x4 xtreme off roader. Speed+torque was possible back when lego had buggy motors, but unfortunately the new motors only allow for one or the other.
Speed or torque? This set definitely needs the torque. But would’ve been great if a way could’ve been found to bump up the speed. I know I’m asking a lot
I ordered one a couple days ago. I just built the new R2-D2 and AT-AT sets. I had to put together my 2012 UCS R2-D2 and my Motorized AT-AT. I also have the first 1980 AT-AT and the Ultimate Droid Developer Set that makes the R2-D2 that is on the shelf on the left in the video.
Already ordered mine a little while ago, hopefully it's here this week. Though I still have a few Speed Champions sets, the Lieberr excavator, Volvo 6x6, Heavy-duty tow truck and London bus to put together first, so It'll probably be a bit down the queue. 😅
@@Unbrickme most cars that I know of don't use a rack and pinion system to steer, they use a rod that swivels through a set of levers to steer. the rod was replicating that system, imo a little sad that its not exactly functional as the job was taken by the rack and pinion Lego provided. if you know madoca, his jeep model has that function, id recommend checking it out.

I find this set ridiculously overpriced for its capabilities. And lets be real, it can go forward and at a 45° angle, that's it. Steering is abysmal, speed is abysmal, ground clearance is bad, open bottom makes gears be clogged up with dirt. And on top of it all, it is only controllable through the app, congratulations, you failed at bringing kids away from smartphones. As for the look, the front is nice but not really accurate for the Zetros, the tyres are accurate, but too small for the playability of this set (also wrong tyre profile, I mean really, tractor tyres?!), doors are sloppy, front hood is sloppy, and the trunk is not even closed off. This all costs 300€ which is insane. For 150€, it would have been fine.
Everything about this tractor is perfect but the godforsaken dummy engine!!!!!! I simply do not understand wasting this perfect chance to re-create a moving 42043 again but they have to fuck it up with this bullshit!!! I mean for real this goddamn tractor with real moving engine and a pneumatic boom Will make this set legendary!!
The set is decent, but it's begging for bigger tyres (maybe even a 3rd axle) and I would've loved to get 2 XL motors as opposed to 2 l motors, and it's value for money still isn't there
