What a fantastic video, thanks very much for making it!
I hope to use the material you presented in an upcoming project. I'd like to light up an edge-lit display (acrylic sheet) with individually addressable LED's. It would be nice if I could control the setup with an IR remote.
I'm sure that modules are sold for exactly that purpose, but I'd rather build it myself and learn something along the way. Your video will be a big help to me when I start that project; thanks again!

Dear TechToTinker, did you read comments for your video? Can you a little help with some case? I have some remote for 433mhz, but IR module have 38 mhz. But when i am press some - light on that IR module is flashing, so IR module can recive that 433mhz signal probably, but this Driver didnt have reaction. Any other remote from my house - tv, or andriod box - work fine with your example. But this is one, not NEC compatibility probably... What changes i need to do for your Driver to detect this 433mhz remote?

Hi Cris, I am using the Infrared receiver module included in the Gorillacell ESP32 development kit.
Anyways, you may used any infrared receiver module you may found. I believe it works the same.

Follow your method, link the device but my REPL can not print out the infrared data, the device is esp32
