What I admire most about the Queen is she kept the promise she made when she was a young woman. Selfless dedication. The world would be much better place if the younger generation had such character.
She kept her promise to God.
She is a wonderful lady, a wonderful mother and a world class leader.
@EDog2009, I completely agree, not many a leader has held to that promise at a young age until now. Her Majesty has given her life at the cost, sometimes of her personal privacy, to her country and citizens. That is a dedication we'll never see again.
Don't sell the younger generation short. There are selfless people among all generations.
what impressed me the most is her private life never being scandals that I know about it. She was always very discreet, people made up stories, but she is one of a kind, respected and adored by many. May God grant it her many more years, with happiness and health.
This was one of Prince Charles's finest moments. I hope HM the Queen saw the outpouring of love for her from her son and her subjects.
he's come a long way-- the Queen made sure Camilla and Charles did not get together when they were young. that was a cruel and wrong thing... but here they are-- and Elton John, Rod Stewart and other rockers were allowed to play. Charles hated it when Diana liked to bop to the pop
British people WAKE UP!
@@annsmith3192 There has always been a long treacherous balancing act between which rules and morees must be kept and followed, and which can safely be shelved. Also, HM is the Queen but she hasn't always been allowed to make whatever choice she would privately wish. I don't think we can lay all of the blame at her feet for not allowing Charles to select as his wife someone who would not have met with the approval of many people who mattered at the time. But the more "acceptable" marriage between Charles and Diana blew up. In so many ways it was a terribly sad episode, but many people learned from it and things are very different now. In my mind one of the biggest things was that brides of the Prince of Wales and maybe other Royal brides(?) are no longer required to have a virginity examination which I don't think Camilla wouldn't have been able to pass back then, possibly even due to her association with Charles, but I really don't know.
@@annsmith3192 I saw Camilla singing and bopping along with the Cambridges. I thought she looked so young and happy.

I'm not a royalist but anyone doing a job for 70 years and still going deserves a party, respect, and well wishes, I feel proud again to be British, thank you Elizabeth.
A job for 70 years. Are you fir real. They live in the lap of luxury because millions of people break their backs actually working week in, week out fir decades. Someone who earns £1400 gets taxed 25% and can't afford to survive. Shame on you for supporting the biggest gang of criminals around

Honestly, I love it when he calls her "Mummy" it is so heartfelt and funny. That cheer at the end was better than ten years ago, it was just a cacophony of voices in celebration rising in volume. I love it when Prince Charles egged them on.
It's getting old now. He did it at both the golden and diamond jubilees.

I'd love to know what the 15 missing Canadian children have to say about that.
@@gmf8171 For God’s sake, use a little common sense! The Queen and Prince Philip were on a state visit to Canada at the time, and would have been in the company of statesmen, dignitaries, servants, secretaries and the like every waking moment. To assume that they could have taken "time off" to commit any criminal act is ludicrous, unless you assume that several thousand Canadians were complicit.
Finally, why would they do it? The answer is obvious, of course, if you’re one of the unfortunates who believe that the Royal Family are cannibals or blood-drinkers.
This conspiracy postulation (I won’t dignify it by the term “theory”, as that presupposes some measure of proof) is, to me, one of the more absurd which surround the much-maligned Royal Family.
My Mummy died a week ago at the age of 90. She loved the Queen though she was a German women. She would have enjoyed this Jubilee. So I sit here and watching In Memory of her And I am not so sad anymore. Well done Charles.

@Rowena Marten I believe Charles is ready now.
Besides: He has an impressioning voice.
@Rowena Marten Rowena, can't you understand? Charles was forced to marry Diana. He loved Camilla only and he was honest to himself. Nobody can oblige another person to love someone.
Yes, Diana was more attractive - but this is not the only criterium that you love someone.
Camilla has a fine personality.
You are disappointed that your personal dream of a fairytale marriage with a wonderful princess had a horrible ending.

But see: It is over.
And remember: Charles was forced!!! at that time.

Loving tribute from a son to his mom. The personal touch of the speech with the Duchess standing by him is well done. 🇬🇧♥️

DUCHESS OF ADULTERY
Think she could of stood bit closer to him, just my personal opinion
@@trudy__taylorandjorjamummy Camilla stood in an appropriate distance from Charles. She was there to support him + the Queen, she wasn't there to be the centre of attention. If it had been the Queen giving a speech + Prince Philip was with her, he would have stood about the same distance away + possibly a step or two back too. It wouldn't be appropriate for the future King to have his wife either holding his hand, or with her arm around him or standing right next to him. It's not an intimate situation, it is a working one, a public rile being performed. There's nothing more inappropriate than a wife/husband in these types of situations to be almost touching or touching their spouse whilst they give a speech. If your husband was giving an important speech at work, surely you wouldn't need to stand really close to him. Hopefully you'd give him space to let him shine. When MM went on stage with Harry at the Polo match as the team was collecting their little trophies for coming in 2nd or 3rd, but they ended up picking up the winners trophy. The four players huddled together to celebrate + hold up the trophy that they didn't actually win... And guess what happened... Meghan managed to squeeze herself in there, ducking under arms in order to be in the photos. It was inappropriate of her to stand so close. Likewise it would've been for Camilla to do so next to Charles
She could have taken off her dressing gown for the occasion tho... 😘

Thank you for a wonderful speech full of warmth and love. Guess we who watch from other countries admire this celebration because you made the people be a part of the celebration.
Yes I found the whole celebration very moving, I was also impressed with princess Anne, taking her mother's place in the trooping of the colours, in fact it brought tears to my eyes how the younger members took over her Majesty's duties, because our beloved Queen is now showing her frailty, I love our Queen
As do the American people
I think Charles took the Queen's place, as the leading rider of the royal group. I think Anne was there as an acknowledgement of the new status of female heirs in the royal succession - not that she will have a chance as all eldest children are now male, for the next three generations.
It's been so sudden this deterioration of her health. Just watching the Commonwealth Service two years ago, she was the picture of health and strength

@@coppernapper9858 ah, but while Saville was still alive there was only a few rumours about him with no proof. It was a different era and it was not until some time after his death that his victims started to tell the truth about what he did to them.
@@coppernapper9858 perhaps they did not do such stringent background checks in those days. Policing has moved on by leaps and bounds in the last 15 to 20 years from what it used to be.
@@coppernapper9858 nope but I do blame Maxwell as she was the one who was his friend first and he was not bright enough to suss what she and Epstein were doing with all their "parties". However, as far as Virginia is concerned, she said in an interview on Australian TV to sell her book that she did not meet Andrew until she was 18 and she also said that she procured young girls for Epstein as well as Maxwell and was paid very well for both activities. So, my question, is why has she not been arrested and charged? But apparently one of her victims has come forward and is now suing her. @@coppernapper9858 read some history on policing in different countries and you might actually learn that in the past there wasn't the same education on gathering intelligence nor was the capability of doing that all that great until more recent times, plus other things such as lack of resources, never mind that some people in high places were prone to a little bribery.

What an amazing tribute to a mother from a loving son. Charles - thank you for sharing your Mother with all of us - not only with your subjects in the UK 🇬🇧 but with the entire world 🌎! With deep love and respect from the 🇺🇸
I'm so blessed to see and hear these wonderful tributes to an extraordinary Queen, Lady, Humanitarian, and Christian
You can call her all the names you want...but she's definetly not a Christian. No true Christian would promote wrong doing.
how is she christian when she and her husband and charles orchestrated the hit on Diana? Not to mention the 10 missing children from Canada...
She's not so perfect....
@@patty5297 she's 100% evil..that's for sure...I just am sad to not see the English people speak out about it.
This is the most united Royal family I've ever seen. They love the country and their country love them. Happy jubilee HM the queen
How many other royal families have you seen? Cause there are multiple who don't have disgraced sons and estranged grandchildren
It’s absolutely delightful to see thousands gather in honour of our legendary Queen. I’m so sorry her husband is not around to be by her side at such a monumental time ..
Her Majesty's heart will always be his resting place. Prince Philip is with her.
Often onordainary days mind goes to republic but when wonderful occassions of horse and carriage glass coaches gold coaches crowns and beutifulls gowns men in red velvet pomp tradition fan fare i am a royalist
God bless the queen and our friends accross the pond in 🇬🇧 celebrating her 70 years on the thrown. Sincerely 🇺🇲
I am not a great fan of Charles but this speech has changed my mind he seems so genuine and when he said mummy I cried so God save the dear queen and her family🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🙏🙏❤❤
Brilliant! The monarchy is in good hands! Charles will be a great King! God Save the Queen from Canada.
He’s waited so long for this kind of applause. I’m happy for him.
Absolutely! He is so under appreciated!
I'm happy for him too, he's waited so long to fulfil his role.
He's really settled down over the last decades and grown into his expanding duties.
now before you become King bring your family together bring your son and his family home , unite your family before you try to be as great a
king. you are not as young as William but he is not as knowledgeable as you.
bring Harry home he is not an extra he is your son.
With Charles & William, the Monarchy will continue to do good around the world. The Queen is amazing & the majority of her family uphold her values so we are in good hands.
Well done Charlie. Brilliant speech. Excellent concert that must have taken more than a year to organise. Absolutely brilliant performances. 1977 jubilee stayed in my, and the following generation, but this tops it all
