Actually it’s already reached the point of people using it for evil. I can’t remember which news station covered it, but two criminals used ai to fake a girls voice based on her TikTok and insta videos. Then they used it to fake a kidnapping plot and make the parents pay ransom.
Someday people are going to be bored of the ai dubbing memes and we are getting into malicious territory
Knowing the Internet, if you give them more time, they’re going to make horrible things with this type of technology

I just realized how easily dubbing would be with this.
Edit: wanted to clarify that i was just stating an observation, not saying i necessarily want this, especially if it harms the careers of people.
A Person could deliver the "blueprint" for the language that its supposed to be translated to and then just a filter has to pe applied to the voice so it would sound like the Original. Voice actors wouldnt even loose their Jobs if they would do it this way.

Only problem is that Japanese people would have to include "L" sounds when creating a voice model. That's the only problem.
