Thank you everyone at Behringer. Thank you for keeping analog alive and affordable. And thank you, Patrick for an awesome review.
Thank you! 🙏
Cheers mate :) Honestly I really enjoyed playing with this synth, love the bass sounds it makes.
Lol, as if
It's not a review, it's an ad.
If Behringer would not exist then it would be a limited people that could do music, we all others may sit with Volcas and pocketoperators =D and the few wealthy ones sitting with Prophet's, Oberheims, Moog's and expensive boutiques,...Cheers =)
Or you could buy any other hardware and software like those of us who have been in the industry for way over 20 years… do you think people haven’t done amazing music without Behringer?
@@MULTIMAN-MUSICLol. He’s saying that many, especially young people, have been priced out of the electronic music making scene. Sure there’s other affordable gear but most of the analog synthesizers are extremely pricey.
Some musicians have tons of expensive gear, but they use in the process of making a song an old guitar or piano for less than 250 Dollars.
VCV Rack is a free modular synth. OK, it's digital. But it's FREE.
@@flourfree2K Good point. I for example bought a Nord Micro Modular back in 2006, all my modular needs are covered. It’s a fantastic sounding synth but guess what, it doesn’t give you a massive wall of Leds and messy cables to show off… it’s a tiny tiny desktop synth that used to be shipped in a VHS case!!
I own no less than 9 Behringer products and every single one has been superb! I will be buying more!
I can't wait to own a Deepmind 12 desktop myself
:) Been using Behringer gear since 1995 successfully in my professional studio in countless productions, no client has complained. Behringer rocks👍😀✨🎹
Fanboi spotted 😅
That's funny because all my behringer gear is cheaply built garbage that's in various states of disrepair a few years later. Perhaps you have little experience with real gear to compare it to.
That's funny, you said "all" your Behringer gear. If it was such "garbage" why did you keep buying it? Perhaps you have no experience in refraining from making bad purchasing decisions?
Shameless is to criticise Behringer for trying to give us possibility to get a affordable good instruments that only collectors and few rich can afford, Moog's vibe was killed by Inmusic takeover and the nail in the coffin was to move the old plant to a skyscraper, we move forward, and should not join the haters, but be thankful to Uli, Patrick, Dan and developers and staff for their effort. 🙏 Behringer ❤️☯️🙏😃
They're more for musicians than the Lawyer/Dentist crowd. Traditional musicians not rich collector senior citizens
A used grandmother is like $700… behringer has synths more expensive than that lol. Don’t mind the cloning of out of production synths that are thousands of dollars on the used market, or twists like the Deepmind was on the 106, but this is both unnecessary and boring.
@@tenaciouscj for you
@@Eli_B3000 totally! I’m not saying that you shouldn’t buy it if it’s what you can afford and what you want, I was responding more to the assertion that it’s “shameless to criticize behringer” - it’s not shameless and there’s good reason to frown upon the cloning of in production modern synths made by other companies. That doesn’t mean you can’t buy it and enjoy it ❤️
@@tenaciouscj I agree they have things they can be criticized for, but there are so many comments on every release about who the "real musicians" are and who is motivated to buy them. I buy gear from almost every brand and these comments for the videos have the worst vitrol and gatekeeping.
As someone who has owned a matriarch for 2 years and sold it for emergencies, this is exactly what im looking for! The biggest selling point of the Matri / Gma was the Oscillator / filter combo. The matriarch filter structure was also rather annoying because you couldnt have just a hipass or low pass (without dead patching of course) so recently ive been longing for a gma as a replacement for that sweet sweet combo. I used my matriarch as a 4 oscillator GMA anyways sooo 🤷♂
You guys pretty much nailed the sound so I will not be buying a used Gma anytime soon! The addition of having the Hipass act as post processing instead of a toggle switch is also genius and the sub oscillator is a very welcome addition and if im being honest it looks like it has better quality control and would interact with a DAW better than the originals anyway
This sounds very nice in the demo. Exactly what you would hope for.
Sold !! I want one now what a nice tone to this synth!
it sounds incredible.
08:20 ok.. I‘m sold.
yes, great outro!
And you need 3 of them.
not at 0:00 ? 😀
@@robertgrabowski2265 or use your DAW then umlimited. lovely sounds from this cant wait to try
Very nice! I might have to add on to my collection!
sounds superb
What great tones. This unit will complement any setup or even take it over.
Behringer keeping these great instruments affordable ❤
Grandbrother
Nice video of a great instrument.
Sounds excellent.
Another wonderful and affordable product!
Love that phase!
Sounds awesome ❤
"YAMAHA CS-15" PLEASE !!! 🥰
With my existing collection, it'd be hard to justify this, otherwise I'd be all over it! BTW, the outro jam is awesome!
Absolutely must have !
Im loving the small formfactor of a lot of devices these days
sounds amazing. thats cool. going into production with some cool gear!
I'm crying. And I'm in love.
love the outro
Phenomenal sound 💖
had to listen again, this is so nice sounding... I was sold at the intro / outro when available UK please B?
Wow, sounds huge. Likely needs it.
Been waiting for this
this one is a charm :] love is colors and layout and the sound is a beauty of a beast!
Thank you! ❤
Genuinely sounds good.
Outro jam is very good.
Thanks mate, I also did a longer version of the intro jam here if it's of interest: ruclips.net/video/klgvupXDjGQ/видео.html
Grandi ragazzi!!
Behringer, you have saved me thousands of dollars
Sounds gnarly and full of character. Love it! ❤
Yes!! Let's go!!🔥🔥
Behringer products are brilliant. 👍👌
Thanks behringer.
Beautiful demo, interesting synth, and reverb sounds gorgeous
I’m in love.
This is awesome, but where's the two channel Moogerfooger Delay desktop unit or pedal?
Astonishing, I’m sold! Not sure my Behringer K2 will be used much once I acquire this. This covers the monosynth territories I cherish most a bit better than the k2; inevitably there’s exceptions to that, likely doesn’t do the ring mod osc2 sound, or have the audio to cv pitch trick, some of the screamy resonance…. Ok probably will be room (sonically) for both , but this is the patchbay I really wanted , the VCF too, and 3-osc design. But surely this canabalizes sales of the Model D, no? Other than D being cheaper.
More modular examples please! :)
Great demo. I may have to add this to my model D & MS-1. Thanks Uli, Patrick, & Team Behringer.
Thank you Behringer for best analog devices!
Uffffff this is VERY interesting
I would love to see more example of the patchbay usage.
Behringer, you are finally closing in on my wallet! Not there yet, but very very close. Keep up the great work 😅
yes!
What a sound. Cracking demo as always dude.
Cheers fella
Ty Behringer
Looks and sounds great> Like my Moog Grandmother but with a few more features and waveforms. Nice!
Spicy! 🔥🔥🔥
What is sad and really shameless, is the narrow minded criticism of Behringer for making good and affordable gear for all people, rich or poor what is bad with that, Now when Inmusic has taken over the Moog brand and moved the plant from the old facility they killed the brand so what is it to cry about, Much love 💕 to Patrick and Dan , Uli and staff thank you. Cheers ❤️🙏☯️
Wasn't that pre 2020 covid Berhinger. Thetford been killing it the past 4/5 years worn all the hw remakes
And what people fail to grasp is that more people buying Behringer gear = more people buying other brands. Gear is addictive and no one wants a 100% Behringer studio. Behringer is the gateway synth pusher.
@@definty ??
@@pepejulI’m one of those new customers. I just got into synths. So much easier to learn on hardware than software. For me it’s great that these synths can be bought.
Right. And it's not like behringer is cutting into the customer base for the original synths that cost thousands more. Those aren't the behringer customers, there is no overlap.
Uff! Awesome
What an awesome outro 😰
Thanks dude, I also did a longer version of the intro jam here if it's of interest: ruclips.net/video/klgvupXDjGQ/видео.html
Dang, it’s been 2 years since we last saw this.
I love this granular texture 💫
Great song at the end! Synth sounds fantastic!
Is the lfo syncable to a external clock ?
How long before the poly version????? This thing sounds awesome!
This sounds very very awesome. How expensive is it? I want it.
Damn it. I just completed my custom stand for my Neutron and Pro-1. Back to the drawing board. Of course, to complete the stack it would be lovely if Behringer would sell empty 80HP cases so I can add some System 100 modules in a 4-tier vertical stack (Neutron + Pro-1 + M15 + System 100)
is this the same size as the neutron?reason why im asking is i have the neutron rackmounted and looking for something same size
I think it’s great Behringer is making classic analog synthesizer and drum machines affordable enough just about anyone can afford one
big thumb up for the FX onboard !! 💕
Absolutely awesome!!! Great demo brother
sounds good huh 👌👍
@@jumpstar9000 i like it
The samurai is in
Cheers bro, this one was nice to jam with, loving the bass sounds it does, like a ninja gut punch to the soul.
@@PatchDog demo was great man. I think ill be grabbing this one. 🇺🇸 🇬🇧
Can the oscillator pitch be changed to octaves instead of fifths?
finally
🤩
Outra jam was worthy of Florian
Ya know brand loyalties aside, gotta say that behringer’s look is just way way better than the wretched looking broken circus tent design. And furthermore the name model 15 is just so much better.
Finally!
Is the reverb analog dry through?
I almost could not believe it!!!!! BEST NEWS OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A new friend for my crave !!
HOORAY IT'S FINALLY RELEASED!!
That's a bundle of power for the space and price.
Behringer, it has to be said, have only themselves to blame when it comes to most of the criticism. That said, their affordable and well made modules enable many to experience the great sounds produced by contemporary and classic synths at a fraction of the cost. I own a Moog Grandmother on which this new unit is mainly based, and I will be getting one of these as an expansion of that synth. For just over a quarter of the price of a Grandmother you really can't go wrong. As long as the build quality remains as consistent Behringer, in terms of product range, accessibility and affordable pricing, are in a league of their own.
Agreed a few steps in different directions and they could avoid a lot of the criticism, and they enable a lot of folks, like me, to get access to types of products i'd never touch otherwise.
That's a good way to do it honestly. It's not like they're making something as cool as a Grandmother. That's got a keyboard and big colorful buttons and everything. It's beautiful. This thing is another desktop unit that's the perfect size to tuck away and set on top of my main MIDI controller. I'd like a Poly D or, you know, an actual Minimoog, but I don't have that kind of space. I'm maxed out.
I would love to get one, sounds massive!!! ❤🔥🎶
Is the input for the filter, if I pipe external audio from my turntable through the filter is it stereo or mono?
Sounds and looks incredible probably be a pre-order from me but, WHERES THE SPICE?
The spice is essential to space travel.
He who controls the spice controls the universe.
The worm is the spice.
The spice must flow.
I'm waiting for my Behringer Cat from the store this month. next I want this amazing thing
Amazing sound , how did you achieve that sound at 8:39 , sounds like its about to take off!
I just made a simple square wave pad then on the second oscillator I dial up the pitch, that gives the 'take-off' sound, up until 1 octave. Then at the very end I just played with the speed of the LFO which was modulating the pulse width and a little filter. Cheers, Patrick.
@@PatchDog Wow thanks so much for the reply and info Patrick , very much appreciated and cant wait to get my very own model 15 beauty to pair with my Neutron !
@@lordlollops1 Nice! That'll be a good pair for sure.
Synth magic happens when the pitch is wobbling at high speeds, or the filter
PHAT Square waves!!!!
Still waiting for the Theremin and the CS80
Looks sick! Where/ When will these be available in the US?
Any update on the Proton? :( Thie sounds INCREDIBLE btw!
Have you seen any updates? That’d be a no, then.
I'm working on the video, got a few releases before then though I think. stay tuned, not long now.
@@PatchDog Awesome! Very excited for the Proton.
@PatchDog that's awesome!!! Thank you so much for the update 😁
@Behringer What about a Groovebox like MC-303 but with a proper display in the size as the Polyend Tracker :)
Great as always 🥰 Next spice please 🥺 ❤❤❤
It's like a semi-modular Moog phatty imo
It's the grandmother, innit?
100% grandmother, but with digital spring reverb (which is just fine with me)
I had a Slim phatty i couldn't get into it ,i got a few good bass sounds but then i recreated the same bass sounds in a few plug ins so i sold it, also if i'm going to go analog i prefer to have most controls at hand rather than switching to get to different functions and parameters, this M15 sounds better imo.
What a beauty
will behringer be allowed at Superbooth this year?
Nein nein nein!
OK.. Take my Money Dammit!!!
Beautiful original designs. That keyboard controller is brilliant.
This was funny.
😉😂
Step grandmother, what are you doing?
Let's go
Wow🎉
One question - what synth was this copied from? Can't figure out yet. Thank you
