    “I am very happy to share the speech of Sierra Leone First Lady & Ambassador of Merck More Than a Mother, H.E. Mrs. FATIMA MAADA BIO from the 9th Edition of Merck Foundation Africa Asia Luminary - 2022.
    She expressed, “I am very happy to be in Dubai and honored to meet you all, my dear African First Ladies as the guest of honor of the 9th Edition of Merck Africa Asia Luminary and to celebrate together the 5th Anniversary of Merck foundation.
    It is exciting to meet Senator, Dr. Rasha Kelej again, soon after our in-person meeting in Sierra Leone in July this year, where we discussed our joint programs with Merck Foundation and meeting all Merck Foundation alumni who graduated from the 46 scholarships, they provided in 32 critical and underserved specialties with special focus on cancer care and women reproductive health.
    We are looking forward to continuing our long-term partnership with Merck Foundation. We are very grateful to them for all their programs undergoing in Sierra Leone.
    Thank you, Merck Foundation for hosting us today, it is a pleasure being a part of this important platform and happy anniversary Merck Foundation.”
