This movie was an absolute juggernaut when it came out. It started the 'MILF' term, and was quoted by everyone everywhere, at least where I'm from. I'll forever know these actors as these characters no matter what other film they're in.
Yeah this new generation don't get it. It's obviously too offensive for them. They are so sensetive, tense and over the top serious and political correct. It's so sad and sickening. They should stick to watching movies from the last decade only because they can't handle older raunchy comedies. It's just annoying to see them react to it.
@@thorbeorn4295 I agree, they would lose their minds over Porky's. the granddaddy of all raunchy sex teen comedies. Animal House was king of frat collage movies as well.
Im 40 graduated 2000 this was our favorite movie going into senior year. It was realistic and enjoyable. Was really cool how the following movies kind of matched uo as I grew up. To the next step is a fitting toast. Great reaction.
When this movie came out the only actor I knew was Thomas Ian Nicholas who played Kevin. Because he was a child actor before this movie in movies like “Rookie of the Year” and “A Kid in King Arthur’s Court”
Yes! Love when someone reacts to one of the American Pie movies! Please do go react to the rest of them (the four with the original cast), because they're amazing.
This reminds me of the classic movies : PORKY' S - Animal House - Fast Times At Ridgemont High - Caddyshack " . And then you have the Mel Brooks movies and " Stir Crazy "
Great reaction to an awesome movie. And same here, I'm a HUGE Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan. BTVS was definitely one of the greatest TV series ever. Btw, the very first time I remember seeing Alyson Hannigan on screen, was in the movie 'My Stepmother Is An Alien' (1989). And I'm sure that as a BTVS fan, you would appreciate that both Alyson Hannigan and Seth Green were kid actors in that movie.
Just an all-time great movie. Saw it in the theater when I was in college and I don't think I have laughed that hard...ever. I can honestly say that this movie just about nails exactly how it is to be a high school boy-straight, no chaser. It's amazing how rewatchable it is. Great reaction.
I haven't watched Buffy, but I grew up with the American Pie series, and Alyson Hannigan will always be Michelle to me! Honestly, the humor is this movie is quite immature at time, but even years later I still love it hah. Glad that you liked it!
It’s funny because the only cast members who actually became “semi known” were Seann William Scott who played Stifler and Allyson Hannigan who played Michelle.
@@nsasupporter7557 The director of American Pie said Stifler was suppose to be only in 1 or 2 scenes, but SWS kept coming up with funny Stifler moments. So funny they had to use them. He said "That F------ kid wrote himself into the movie". So SWS really invented Stifler. Role Models is one of my favorite comedies.
@@reesebn38 yep, exactly 🙂 Stifler was only supposed to be a “side character” originally… who popped in and out but he became the whole movies in the sequels. It’s a shame that Seann William Scott will always forever be known as that character because he actually is a good actor. Role Models was ok 👍 what about other movies he’s been in?
@@nsasupporter7557 I really like him. Dude Where's my Car was big. Final Destination, The Rundown, the Rock & him. I really liked Goon, 1 & 2. He has done a lot.

Such a classic. And yup, sex is a totally different thing for guys as it is for girls. For guys it's not emotional at all. It's just a stress release and fun. Even once married. Girls being concerned about being ditched...fair concern, but if they don't want that, don't date the jocks and chads and bad boys who just want to bang and ditch. Sadly girls don't see the nice guys as attractive so they screw themselves over literally.
this film was, kept us dream big, fall in love, and be inspired in life. this film showed how teens were. it brings so much fun memories, and sad ones too. I love your reaction. sympathizing on each character. it was fun 👍
Just 5 seconds into this video and I was delighted to pause to post: Buffy's the best show ever and i knew there was a reason i thought you rocked from the start 😂
… by the way, Eurotrip was the only good movie out of those others you mentioned. Old School was one of the worst movies ever made and there was nothing special about Road Trip.. it was just another stupid sex comedy movie
This was huge for every teen when it came out and i can speak for them all when I say that till this day, when someone says "this one time" we interrupt with "at band camp" 🤣🫣
Thank you for not saying they’re “underrated.” I’m so sick of so many people misusing that word and saying that so many popular movies are “underrated” it’s so annoying
Jim has maybe the best dad ever. You have to watch all the American pie movie including the less popular spin off ones to really find out. The dudes a legendary savage.
It's like "Animal House" for millennials, and it did make a big impact on pop culture. For a few years in the very early 2000s, I'd hear people on TV and elsewhere refer to a cougar as a "Stifler's mom." It's credited for launching several film careers, but few of these actors hit it really big afterward. Hannigan's the biggest success story, but she already was big from "Buffy: the Vampire Slayer" and transitioned into a successful sitcom gig for several years. Chris Klein had some success afterward, as a knockoff Keanu Reeves type, but his best performance was in "Election," which came out that same year. I recommend it highly as a great exploration of modern society and suburban decay through a high school class presidential election.
These main series movies are so good. Some even weren't always popular, are still SUPER fun to watch and hilarious. Each movie has good feel moments too.
Thanks for the reaction. If you want more, there is also American pie 2, American reunion, American wedding, and the spinoffs Beta House & Band camp. Have a nice day.
Jim’s dad was an awesome dad, I wish I had a dad like that, instead I had an awful dad that was absent for most of my life and even when he was there he was terrible
If you liked American Pie, I think you would also enjoy Animal House, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, There’s Something About Mary, 40 Days and 40 Nights, and Porky’s. Porky’s is basically an 80’s version of American Pie. It is very interesting to get a female perspective on these types of comedies.

You should watch the 1981 movie "Porky's". These 2 movies are so damn funny with very adult humor.

I'm actually more impressed Sherman managed to keep his girl there all night without making any moves. Also, I noticed the Pentalax was in a prescription bottle written to Stifler, even though he could have gotten it over the counter, so he must have had it in stock for his own use. Looks like Shitbreak isn't the only one with a problem.
