Ja Del, I love every piece you do, and just when I think you can't top the least one, here we are. And you always have me wanting to practice swooshes! Absolutely gorgeous piece, I love your tutorials.
Thanks so much! Colors are hard for me. Doing this channel has taught me that I might have bad taste 😂😂😂 sometimes it surprises me that my weird ideas work out. Thank you ♥️
Thank you Diana. I really means a lot that you took a peak and left me some feedback. I’m still trying to find my footing with this RUclips thing so your encouragement was right on time… Thank you ♥️
Another beautiful project! Your curlicues would have been so easy to do with a paint pen, BUT, it's impossible to find a paint pen that has the shade of gold you want. So many of them are kind of greenish and not very shiny. So enjoy your videos. You put them together so well, and make them very enjoyable to watch!
I have saved every video of yours! You are one of the few artists that are willing to take the time to share exactly what they are doing! You spread so much absolute joy with your videos. You encourage everyone to try and find happiness in this art form. What a wonderful gift to others! I have looked everywhere for the exact dotting rods that you use. I bought a set from the happy dotting company, but there not the same. God bless you JaDel!
Oh my gosh you just made my day. Thank you ♥️ I did notice that Happy Dotting still sells my dotting rods but they’ve taken away some sizes. I need to find another set so people can get what I’m using. I love these so much. Let me see if I can piece together a set. Let me research the tool differences. I’ll get back to you. ♥️🤗
It looks like her set doesn’t include the tiny 2 mm, the pastel green 7mm, or the brown 11 mm. The 2 is an easy fix because I use dotting tools. My white one is 2mm. I don’t think it’s perfectly the same but close. I will be trying to find a set of tools that is available for everyone but that may take some time. Until then? When I use the 11 you can try using the 10 mm with a bigger dip or a harder squish. Same with the 7… try a 6? Does that make sense at all? Lol. I’m crazy
Oh my goodness! Your suggestions make perfect sense. I will definitely try what you suggested. No you're not crazy! Just so sweet to help me with all of this. Everything's good for now. If you do get your own line of dotting tools, I will be the first one to order a set from you! In the mean time, just keep doing your beautiful mandala art. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me with all of this! Yes you do rock! Boom!😊😊

Classy and elegant and I love it💛💛💛. I never would have thought to use that shade of green with such a rich red, but, shit, it really works beautifully. I love that you show me so many unique color combinations and designs that look so beautiful🥰🥰. You will always be my rock star🤩. Darlene… I seriously appreciate this comment. I think you just filled me with a bit more confidence. I did so much research these past couple of days…. By next Sunday we will put it all into play. Thank you ♥️ really… Thank you ♥️
@@JaDeLRocks you couldn’t shut me up if you wanted to, I seem to always have something to say🤣🤣. Seriously, though, I lost my husband by suicide 9 years ago…..I’ve had lots of time to reflect on all the things that really matter (what seem like little things on a day to day basis, but are really the big things)and all the things that shouldn’t be assumed, but should be said, so I try to remember to express my thoughts that are positive or might be helpful. You had me from the first video I watched of yours, but if I would have only hit “like” after each one, you would never know what you do that makes me hit “like” and, especially when you are growing a business, feedback is important. When you give a gift in person, you get the reward of seeing their reaction or getting a hug of gratitude. You are giving us a gift and since you can’t see my look of awe or hear my laugh or my confused look when I don’t know where you’re going with your design, but the huge “ya, girl, u did it again” look, then comments are my resource for expression and hopefully your reward. Oh my, I do go off on long comments. Lol. Keep being you😍😍

Fabulous 💞 Unfortunately I don't dare to do the swooshes that much yet, I finally have to practice it 💪. And then these squiggles.... awesome 😍. But that with a brush 🙈... oh my, I'll think, I'd rather try that with a fineliner, because with brush doesn't really work that well either 😄🙈. Greetings from Germany/Heidelberg 🖐️

This design and colour palette are so regal. Very nice indeed. Water thins the paint effecting the opaque quality of the paint towards it becoming transparent, whereas using the correct medium willl thin the paint down without altering the quality of opaque quality of the paint. As you have the medium providing its the correct one for the purpose, I'd keep using it to thin any thick paints down. For those interested, you can also get a medium gel to thicken paints that are too fluid. Again the gel adds thickness to a fluid paint without altering the actual quality of the colour. For those interest, there is so much information online to guide you into making the right choice? It's interesting and well worth educating yourself. The other quality worth checking on is how to stop your paint palette from drying the paints out quickly. I live in the tropics where we swing from hit and dry to hot and humid. So in dry days it's hard to stop the paint in my palette from drying out too quickly. For those who don't know, you can also buy a 'Wet Palette', which will help keep your paints usable for a longer period. When I first started dotting, I was only interested in getting the dotting done, until I woke up to the fact that I was compromising my paint by not treating it properly. So while I purchased good quality paints they weren't as vibrant in colour as they should be. That was because I was destroying my paint with the way I treated it. We live and learn and we are never too old to learn.
Thank you so much for your knowledge. I still use water often and haven’t had a problem with it yet. However… you seem quite knowledgeable and I wonder if you might know… when I use any medium or even water I’m stirring in lots of bubbles. Is there a fix to this? I’m stirring super slow. Then I pick up the paint tray and kind of tap it on the table like you would a pancake 🤣 Do you have any tips or tricks on how to avoid bubbles when mixing mediums into paints?
Pause at the end. I’m recording in HD So check your internet speed too. When it lags everything gets wobbly… Anyhow.. if it’s not you and it’s still me, let me know and I’ll type them out for ya. I watch on my iPad or tv because I can’t see anything on this phone lol!! Let me know if that time stamp helps. 13:25
I just made a video.. I tried holding each bottle up as I went but it looked terrible because of the slow change of focus the camera has. So what I did was at the end I zoomed in and put all the paints up and rolled them by the camera more close. I’m so happy you mentioned this. After your comment I thought to myself that maybe they are only easy for me to read because I already know what they say! Your feedback really helped. I’m also going to start adding time stamps for these type things in my description. It might be a bit wonky at first but hang in there.. I’m trying. Thank you ♥️
