I like your tour, the camera is so clear. Thank you for presenting this awesome trip through Santa cruz. I leved ther in the early 90s for 6 years, I have beautiful memories. Greetings from Mexico City.
Hello. You are very welcome. I can only imagine all the beautiful memories you had. Santa Cruz will certainly leave a huge impression on people, whether visiting or living there like you did. Gracias por visitar el canal, de hecho, nací en México, Michoacán y emigré a California cuando tenía 4 años. Me encanta toda la belleza que México tiene para ofrecer. Planeo visitar y grabar en video partes de Baja California este año. Once again, thank you for your comment and I am glad the video resonated with you.
@@streetxpedition I arrived in early october 2 weeks before the loma prieta earthquaque, I atended cabrillo college , I had lots of fun in the corss country team at cabrillo. I miss santa cruz . Thank you
Yes. It is hard to believe it was a little over 12 mile ride. I could have easily kept riding and exploring, but my bike charge was depleted. Needless to say, the following day I felt the pain from the leg sore... but it was well worth it! Thank you for your comment, I am glad you liked it!
Oh how I love Santa Cruz! It has 1 HOT day a year! Just one! Strangest thing! In the winter it rains for 5 days STRAIGHT sometimes! But during those times you can just run up to SF and it wont be raining!
Hello! Thanks for sharing your Santa Cruz love! Santa Cruz is one of my favorite beach city - every thing about it, and the climate is just superb! That is true about SF, and it is not that far of a drive to get away from those SC rainy spells.
Hi. It does appear common; however, not so much in the summer time along Beach Street (Boardwalk/Wharf area); you also see vendors downtown. Seems the city heavily regulates vendors though. I just shot video of the boardwalk last weekend and there were no vendors, which sort of surprised me - then I saw posted signs that referred to an ordinance, and if I recall correctly, there were dates shown where vendors weren't allowed along Beach street.
My daughter went to UC Santa Cruz and graduated 6 years ago. We visited her a couple of times…..campus is gorgeous…but….so many strung out homeless around town made it a very sketchy place
UC SC is indeed such a beautiful campus! Congratulations on your daughter’s success! Two days ago I read that the city of Santa Cruz got awarded $4 mil. to mitigate the homeless issues. Thanks for sharing your story.
Hi, thanks for watching and sharing! Also, I appreciate the reminder about CA's biking rules. Quite honestly, I'm still getting familiar with the regulations for riding on city streets. Thanks again!
My hometown ❤❤❤
Clear video
Thanks so much
You are very welcome - and you are very fortunate to have lived there. It’s such a beautiful place.

I use to live in SC in college. I don't recall much street vending. Is it now super common?

Thank you for this. I will share. BTW, bicycles must stop at stop signs and yield to pedestrians in CA.
