it's insane how modern this sounds
Steve Porcaro continued to work on the songs he did with MJ, so if they sound modern, you can bet that it's because these versions have been completed within the last couple years.
This song is waaay ahead of it's time. Most of his song were revisited after all those years. So I'm still wondering why estate is telling us there's no more planned full-fledged albums in the future...but Who knows??

This really is one of the purest melodic expressions I’ve ever heard Mike create. It’s truly beautiful, packed with soul, meaning and melody. Absolutely faultlessly beautiful. And it’s a demo! What a beautiful, pure and unadulterated talent. God, we miss you Michael. X
I always was unable to name a favourite of his songs, I came up with a list of 20 songs or something like that. But Dream away could be really I think my all time favourite!

I feel like this should be a part of the Biopic that is coming out. This song feels right for the film if you ask me and even the lyrics fit like a glove. I can imagine it either being part of the credits or the ending where his fans celebrate his legacy after he passes. That would make for a moment that would make a lot of us cry.

@@barrywazhere I would love to see a scene where we do get to hear the songs that were rejected for an album. Just to show what Michael's process was when coming up with these albums and what stuff needed to be taken out in order for the albums to come out the way they did. That would be a cool behind the scenes look into Michael's music.
That and it would be a creative way to get these unreleased tracks out into the world in the form of a soundtrack.

Not sure if this is real or not. But someone has mentioned that Prince appeared in Vegas for a MJ event. He stated that they're looking for unreleased music to use for the Biopic.
So maybe a chance?

The Estate apparently got the Dream Away and Chicago 1945 tracks. Looks like something may come.
Out of all the unreleased demos/ leaks I've heard through the years, this has to be my favourite. Played it at least 30 times and each time i still smile like an idiot. These type of songs are what i think of when reminisce about MJ.

Michael was soo ahead of the game. This song reflects the stylish of most modern music. Just as well as the song "Fly away" carries the type of vocal flow.

The instrumental part of this song sounds like it was an early exploratory path toward what eventually became "Human Nature". It's intriguing to think if this would have eventually become a unique song unto itself totally separate from "Nature" at some point or not.

Human Nature, as said, was recorded before, anyways that was a song brought to Michael from Toto's member Steve Porcaro. That demo was already in a very finished shape. You can listen to it in RUclips if you look for it, it's quite interesting ;)

Steve Porcaro and Michael Jackson created magic collaborating songs including Human Nature Bravo
The writer of this song is Steve Porcaro (wrote human nature). So in reality Steve is genius here and Michael makes it magic. The reason it hasn’t been on anything is Steve owned this song and Chicago 1945. So nobody could put on anything. BUT he just sold the rights to those songs so soon we may hear the original versions in good quality along with a new reconstruction of the music with polishing the vocals. Only thing about Dream Away is it doesn’t have those sweet harmony back vocals we love but, it’s something different and just a straight vocal with a message. All we have heard online is just a “version” of the songs. But soon we will hear them now.
