Contaminating the lunar surface isnt a problem, since the moon never had life on it. This is what they did on project apollo, so it makes sense.

i am aware, i didnt put it in an eliptical orbit because im lazy and i wanted to make a lander thats sorta based off the space sailors mars lander.
