Excellent story! What made it even more enjoyable to me was that I knew every town and city mentioned. I have lived in the East Bay for the past 25 years. Question though, LLC. Thailand was mentioned again, is that a hint about Ralph? I have been waiting patiently.
55:00 Yeah, compulsion. Theres....an army guy. So, he walked 10s of KM during day time, go back to base, eat dinner, stare at wall. Sleep. Repeat. So the base commander doesnt want him to do that. He had him cook rice. He cook all the rice. The 1 month ration was cooked in 3 days. Thus he was relieved from cooking duty. He returned to walking.

I dunno... it's not believable that a small town would even talk to a random person asking about anybody in the town. They might ask about the town and locations, and they'll answer. But people? Yeah, they would tell you to kick rocks.
Actually, from living in a small town, I have learned that they'll happily gossip about people to anyone who'll listen. Just have to find the right people.
Kinda wish you had a separate channel for cheating wife revenge stories. Or at least don’t market the story as cheating wife when it’s just a single line in a hour long story.
20:35 ah, no wonder daughters are preferable in this kind of story, that way, the new love could bond over girl talk. I guess daughter son would be more interesting especially of the siblings are thick as a thieves.

A lot of Italians call the sauce "gravy", even though it's the normal tomato sauce we're used to.
My Italian friend from HS called all pasta, “macaroni,” and all tomato sauce, “gravy”
