Thanks so much for the super quick response,the online calculator I used asked for ring thickness input and I wasn’t sure if that was the width of the material being used to make the segments or if it was the wall thickness you want to finish at.

@@IvyCreek-76 my ring thickness? I put that I wanted a 8” ring. My wood thickness was 3/4? Does that help?
