Honestly when you’re using one for a week or so, then go back to the other (Le PARFUM, Elixir) they both just have a brilliant aroma that you fall in love with all over again. You can’t go wrong with either.. but if I really had to choose, Elixir wins, but to be clear it’s not a competition as they are both excellent.
I've tried Le Parfum yesterday after 1 week of elixir. Not the same as before elixir 😮 missed that smoothness and honey vanila from elixir

Smelled this for the first time today, and it was a love at first smell. While not completely blown away it is solid and tied for my favorite in the line.
I love all the Jean Paul Gaultier flankers, but without trying to be on the new buy band wagon. This Elixir is genuinely by far the best release it truly smells so good, my girlfriend, lad mates & family all find it divine. An absolute bad-sick release defo the best of one the best of 2023

I tested in a shop a few weeks ago. It did not blew me away like le parfum did some years ago, but it was good, dont get me wrong. I could see it work good in the same situations, the stronger with you line work in.

Finally picked this thing up. It is fantastic. I paid more than I wanted to bc I got it at Macy's, but, for the frags whose note breakdowns I'm a fan of, I 'll do that all day long bc most fragrances get reformulated and I've noticed that these first batches hit stronger. This thing smells amazing off my skin. Rich with the honey, benzoin and vanilla with just the right amount of mint and lavender. It just slays. Gonna be tough to wear in hot weather, but I have plenty others for that.

The new Elixer is the only JPG that I own. I bought Silver Ramz though. I am really happy with Silver Ramz though. It is really sweet though. I definitely wouldn’t want it any sweeter.

What should I get from the three? I live in a humid country, and wanted to have my 1st signature scent. Ultramale, Le Parfum, or Elixir? I wanted to pull any of these even in high heat but with moderate sprays ofcourse. I wanted that Sauvage EDP versatility but unique enough.

I managed to pick up 125ml for a great price in the UK £70 (blind buy), wearing it today. I've bought almost 50 fragrances this year, designer / niche / clones - this has to be the best scent I have bought this year. It is truly amazing. Performance is outstanding, the scent itself is JPG's best to date for me. Absolutely incredible fragrance, I will be wearing it all Autumn and into Winter.

I hope jpg releases gaultier 2 to the states. Had a few samples of the original in the past, and always wanted to pick up a bottle. Was hopeful when they rereleased it, but hasn't been available for non absurd prices in US.

My track record with JPG has been great so far. I liked Le Male, loved Le Parfume and absolutely loved Ultra Male (maybe cuz I’m in my early 20s). Gonna give the elixir a try

Hey guys, I received the bottle today, and I think I did something extremely stupid. So, a bit of context, I am blind, so you know when I open packages, I usually don’t really look at what I’m doing ha ha ha. So when I opened the can, and got the bottle out, I forgot that there is a ring around it, and I pretty much almost popped out the atomiser, so that was hilarious. And I think in the process of doing that, I lost part of it, because now I cannot close the bottle. Any suggestions also, I do like the smell of this elixir thing, but I gotta be honest you guys, this is fucking sweet. So for me, who is not really used to sweet, fragrances, and now that I blind bought this, I’m gonna have to get used to this smell, but yeah I can see it being pretty good. But not anything out of the ordinary really? Like the atomiser is just sitting there, but there is no cap or anything to close the bottle down.

Just got this at macys for 128 for a 4.2 ounce. 15 percent off! Its so good. I gotta say though, i can't pick a fav between this and victory elixir. The smoothness of victory elixir is just so damn good.

Just picked this one up Macy’s had a 3 piece gift set a 4.2 oz a travel spray and a 2.5 oz shower gel for like $127.00 I do like ultra male I’m not much into powdery scents so le parfum didn’t really do it for me I’ve heard this is like that minus the powdery iris can’t wait to get my nose on it going to be the perfect time of year to start wearing it

Mannnnn....smh.. I just blind bought it today (8/2/23) and was super excited after watching all of the various fragrance reviews and the fact that my La male Parfum is a compliment monster.......sprayed the Elixr for the first time and thought it was just......meh in comparison to the parfum. Not saying it was bad, but the scent was about a 6.5, maybe a 7, on a scale of 1 to 10 in my opinion. The La Male Parfum is an easy 9 that is hands down one of my most complimented fragrances (it's neck and neck with my other go-to fragrance- Blu de Channel parfum in regards to random "what's that you're wearing?" type compliments). I returned the Elixr the same day I purchased it smh. I'll stick with what works (for me)- La Male Parfum as my signature scent, in rotation with Blu De Channel parfum.

No it’s for fall and winter. Where as with la parfume you could have it during hotter months but usually at night or raining.

Sprayed it on a paper in the store and I wasn't even moved by it as it opens up more like Le Parfum ,two days later I smelled that paper and yes it's on my to buy list 😂😂😂

Yes
The answer is NO. While they are similar here’s the biggest differences: LMLP has a powdery/soft-spice aspect due to the cardamom and Iris. And Elixir has more of a gourmand aspect (with zero powderiness) due to the honey and tobacco. Similar but different in an awesome way

It has a tobacco/honey dry down and lasts for a long time on skin. I also have Le Parfum.

This garbage doesn't stand a chance against heavy hitters of my collection ( La nuit de l'homme, Layton, Carlisle, l'homme de YSL, D&G The One). It smells bad and has no class to it. It's a versace Eros type of fragrance but worse. Don't jump in the band wagon. Never blind buy this trash. Overhyped by content creators.

One of the trash...same ugly cheap synthetic ingredients like all millions, codes..especially code absolu.
Some designers know how to avoid that stench like Gucci elixir but some will never do.
