Honestly I was really pleasantly surprised with it as it got almost out of control temp wise at one point and had to rein it back down but no, absolutely fantastic LIGHT fruited/wine flavour. Solid vid, mate. I've brewed David Heath's Kölsch a few times and I have limited experience with Kölsch (or brewing) but it tasted quite nice. Going to try this one out soon (as soon I do the 5 day Märzen). Have you tried David Heath's Kölsch? Any comparison?
Haha, unfortunately I’ve had to unscrew it as it was too low to comfortably pour a pint from! So occasionally have to take it out to pour properly. Not massively pleased with it!

That’s right it’s a Tilt Hydrometer! It reads the gravity and temperature every 15 minutes and makes a Chart for you. Really useful for finding when fermentation has ended as the chart levels out.
Hi mate can do something better with the commentary sound ? Very hard to hear you. It may be a mic problem but I have turn my tv upto 30. Every thing else I watch on RUclips and normal tv is in the low teens.thx mate

Yeast wasn’t ‘discovered’ until 1857 when Louis Pasteur described the fermentation process. That’s why it didn’t get a mention in 1516.

You can always ask the Kolsch Konvention see what they say 😂🙌
