- This time in the final episode of our NC500 adventure we travel from Shieldaig to Loch Lomond via the Applecross pass and Eilean Donan Castle and the Trosaks
First of all, LOVE your channel. I'm American but for several years I worked for a Scottish firm and visited the UK for both business and pleasure. We hosted a golf tournament at Loch Lomond for our major customer's CEOs and wives. The course formerly hosted the Scottish open and during that trip we were the last guest group before the tournament started. I fell absolutely in love with the country, its amazing scenery and especially the Scottish people. Seeing that countryside from the seat of a bike must be amazing. Thanks for the video and the good memories.
It was breath taking
What a fabulous country it is
Lovely scenery 👌
Indeed it is
After watching the 5 parts of this trip, I should ask if you have ever done the trip round the Isle of Skye?
Going over the bridge is breathtaking in itself, then the trip around Skye is beautiful and lots to see. Great roads for bikes
I have
Some time ago
Main thing I remember was a terrible cross wind on the day
But definitely worth it
If you can get a calm dry day especially
Very nice ride!
Was indeed
My wife's maiden name was Maclennan.
That's where her clan used to live with the Mcraes and mackenzies 😅😅
A magnificent place it is too
Thank you for posting this trip; Scotland has so much impressive scenery. Of course, sunshine helps enhance the views, but even without that it's still a beautiful part of the world with not too many people to make a mess of the place. By the way, talking of which, what were those three masts that could be seen on the descent?
I really don’t know about those towers
They are massive things though
I think its Kishorn Port and dry dock
@@stevieforbes2160 does sound right
Absolutely massive structure
Thanks, mate! 👍
Apart from bikers and other tourists those roads look unused somehow.
There aren’t a lot of people about
If anyone says Britain is over populated tell em to visit Scotland
