In this video, I explain why I'm restarting my RUclips channel, involving my testimony of being in a dark place of depression and guilt and getting redeemed by Jesus to a place of freedom and new life. This time around on RUclips, I'm ready and more equipped to follow my dream of being a successful Christian artist.

So, let me get this straight:
I see a video from a Christian animator that sums up my issues with how some people handle the gospel (i.e. emphasizing spirit over truth or vice versa) in my recommended, and now learn that the channel owner shares my backstory of being Christian my whole life and being born in Australia?

So glad you're back and doing mentally/emotionally better! Glad God revealed His love and forgiveness to you! Gosh, sometimes it does take awhile to realize that we *cant* do everything, and God doesn't want us to burn ourselves out with things that will hurt us instead of build us up. That's something I need to be reminded of often, so thanks ^^
But that aside, it's really nice to see an openly Christian artist youtuber! Even the Christian youtubers I watch often don't talk about their faith or sort of mention as an aside because people tend to get so toxic over it, but you don't, which is very admirable :) I also noticed your persona has a fantasy aesthetic, which I really love! I've been trying to figure out a way to present myself on my own channel without it feeling dishonest or fake, but seeing your channel makes me think I probably just need to calm down about it -v- Okay that was really rambley. I'm going to subscribe now, and I look forward to seeing more of your videos!!

I’ve been thinking lately that somebody oughtta do a channel like this. Thought of doing it myself, but I’m still praying and preparing for this upcoming part of my life. I have a lot to learn, so I’m glad to see somebody God has sent for this purpose ^^

This is so cool! I love your art style and I'm also a Christian artist, but I'm at a different point in my journey to you. For the past couple years I got verryyy invested in the art community on Instagram and it really distracted me from my studies and God, but this year He's definitely calling me to refocus on Him and my studies, and to work hard! So I deleted my Instagram and pretty much put personal art on pause, but I have a couple of school projects that I'm planning to post on RUclips. But yeah, very relatable, and I'm so happy that you feel fresh and new again - I'm very much looking forward to that feeling and it gives me hope!

Bro, you have absolutely no Idea how excited I am, that I finally found another christian artist, like myself! Finally my youtube feed has spat up something good! :D I am just so happy, that I found this. Judging from your testimony, you seem to have changed a lot. I feel that. I also went to a missionary school and this was, when I finally started to trust in God and let him guide me. And now I am working on a Comic in the right way. I also have a really big desire to show gods love through my novels, but that can be pretty trick as well. I think we christians are neglecting art, and art is a great tool to show ideas and stuff. Glad you finally understood Gods love!

Frogs are awesome. Upstate NY is better than Northern Cali. Trumpet is awesome, but french horn and accordion are really fun as well.

Hello. I am an artist trying to turn my art to work for God. I struggled a lot because of the family background I come from art is childish but am still pulling through. I have a strong feeling that my art isn't meant to end as a hobby but to use it for God but it hard. I genuinely am happy to stumble on this video as a struggling Christian because everything you said resonated with one i struggled with but am working into entering a new season with God. I think this is also a sign to rebrand myself and be more confident as a child of God. If you don't mind I would love to be-friend you. I never thought i could meet other artist who are Christian especially on RUclips. Would love to be mutuals and learn from each other as well as help each other.

I would love to have this as my side gig. I just need to work on time management. And I feel the exact same emotions you felt. I have ADD and much regret and built-up anger. Sometimes, I feel like I'm straying from GOD even though I still love him. I know he still loves me and yearns for me to see that. This is so awesome! I too am a Christian artist, and am looking into missionary work. But I'm currently in this waiting period it feels like. I have a strong desire to serve the Lord, but I also understand why I must wait. He's helping me to build up calluses to better survive in a world that wishes to snuff out our light, and to learn that its ok to ask for help when you are not alright (which is really hard for me.) I'm so exited to see where your channel goes, be it the Frogs and what you have to say. 🤗

Not everyone is called to be a proficient apologist. Some have the inclination and the vocation for it, while others can contribute in their own unique ways, such as is the case with you, from what I can gather. There are multiple equally valid ways of contributing to Christianity and the message of Jesus Christ.

I consider myself a Omnist. I believe in all religions. Though Christianity is one of the religions I'm very picky on because there has been so many lies and rumors especially with how many different of the bibles and Christianity there are. I personally believe in the original Hebrew text and original Judaism mythos.
I really hope you're a real Christian, you love everyone, and don't believe in the lies the modren bible has spread. Tho, so far with you saying God is the same as Jesus who died on the cross, you believe in the more modren and my personally incorrect versions of the bibles. I wish you luck though, I my self have the same goals but instead my goal is to spread the truth about religion overall. ❤

I'm an Atheist. I'm not here to be nasty, or to convince you out of Christianity. A troubling trend I've noticed, particularly with American Christians is this idea that they have to make everything about god. They have to listen to Christian songs, watch Christian movies and TV shows, learn from Christian schools and follow Christian influencers. That seems like a toxic and obsessive mindset to me and its not at all how I was taught when I was a Christian.
You might say, since I'm no longer a Christian that I was taught the wrong way. I may no longer be a Christian, but I also have no hatred for Christians, unlike many American atheists who where brought up in that culture when they were Christians and who now have a burning hatred of Christianity. Maybe a more moderate and balanced approach is better for one's mental health.
So you want christians’ children to have a secular(=atheist) culture instead of a christian culture. 😑
The less christian culture the less the world knows about the true God and Jesus Christ.

What was the "Homosexuality and the Bible" video about? You deleted it and I can't find an archive.
I felt that it was a very sensitive and important topic that I didn't handle well back when I made the video. What I said wasn't necessarily wrong, I just really value (much more now than then) speaking truth from the right heart posture.
@phrogpollen How would you go about telling someone that homosexuality is wrong in the right "heart posture"? Or do you just not want to bring it up because of the inevitable negative reaction?

@Fezezen No worries! Something that I've learned is that our highest goal is to love God and love others, not to be right! So if we're following God and being a representative of His love for others, we can't go wrong!

We're nondenominational and people from every denomination involved in it. We're definitely more charismatic, but rooted in God's word, leaning

Yes I watch Grian very often actually! But the symbol on my forehead wasn't inspired by him at all! It actually holds a lot of symbolic meaning for me :)

When I was 8, I got hit by a car. It was a pretty awful incident but God's love and grace shone through in miracle after miracle! One of the scars I have from the accident is on my forehead. It doesn't look like a swirly on my forehead (and it's actually hard to see if I don't point it out because it's under my hair), but when designing my character, I wanted to draw attention to the scar! And I thought a swirly was a cool idea! Later I read the verse that we are markd by God's seal or something like that and so it's also a symbol of how God has marked me with His love!

I won't! I can only show you as much of Jesus as I can and how He's changed my life. The decision is up to you and the Holy Spirit, and I couldn't make you 'become Christian' even if I wanted to!
