I really enjoyed that, and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the series. Back in 1979 I toured around France on a Yamaha RS 125, and what great fun it was. Good on you rode from surrey to wales and back a couple of times on a C90 I was nineteen and fit, bum ache back ache, eye strain and mega fustration due to other road users flashing their lights at me because I was that rider who rode around with his lights on when no one else did[just had some mates killed and a serious accident myself] and to top it off low sun. Not sure I would care to repeat the journey these days, not without some major mods to the 90.
