  • The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, has discouraged the conduct of DNA tests with the intent of establishing the parentage of children. Kaziimba challenged congregants attending Christmas service at All Saints’ Cathedral in Kampala to emulate Joseph. He advised that families should accept and raise children as they would adopt and care for strangers.

So why does the church permit couples to take several tests before to their wedding?
It is not beneficial for them to be together if one partner shows signs of dissatisfaction unless it is addressed.
