That build explanation helps a ton foir a beginner. I like that you explain everything in detail. It is super helpful. Already went to twitch to toss the prime on you.
I have always loved playing Pale Masters ever since they were first introduced. Some of my favorite in-game moments involved grouping up with a few friends that were also playing Pale Masters and 4 manning Epic Elite raids. I just recently came back to the game (Argonnessen Server) after being away for several years and found that the negative energy abilities now use SP instead of HP to cast which was initially a disappointment, but the damage they do was drastically increased and when I'm using my Concordant Opposition gloves and a Torc I am getting so much SP from the proc effects that I can still blast everything indiscriminately and still rarely ever have to bother with rest shrines or SP potions.
Strimtom, Polar Ray has no save so there's no chance a monster will take 50% or 0% damage from it. That's why it deals less damage than Necrotic Ray.

I’m following your build pretty closely. I decided to go human for the extra feat plus.. truth is I have the vampire cosmetic armor and just had to look more original vampire. I will also take wraith. I may switch to lich later as I intend to remain as a wizard pretty much. I won’t get my two more fighter past unless I get a / +20 heart.Question though. When can I go to the portable hole? I’m lvl 4 now. Wanted to inscribe as many scrolls as possible ASAP.
The thought of a GreatSword/ Repeater wielding Vampire Warlock with light trapping skills for flavor sounds exciting!! Currently Drow Level 6

Was that shown a first life toon? Last time I did a 13-hour sprint on a 3rd life toon I made it to 14 before my eyes were bleeding at bit. That was like 3 years ago, and I could prob do a bit better, and I was picking up people to assist for as long as they could keep up, and did some soloing, but damn.
EDIT: Ah, you were getting a halfling life out of the way. Guessing multi-life toon then. Yup, 3 stars. Guess I will have to go back and do better. Of course there are more quests to do these days. Maybe I can plot out and find a group next time. My TR group last year was doing a racial life ever 4 days for about 5 weeks. That included going to 30 every other life to change things up and allow for the TR timer.
is pale master still a viable move if you want to just run about and not use eldritch knight. also what shroud of you intend to focus hard on casting? i picked lich, but wraith is eyeing me down a LOT.
So what’s the best shroud form?

It is a bonus unlocked in the monster manual by slaying enough monsters and different kinds.

What is that timer you use on the left side? Nice video :)
That is the program livesplit. It is used by speedrunners to track time during speedruns, and it works for level 1-20 speedruns as well :)
do the plug at the beginning, just keep it short like you did.

What kind of stats / weapons should i be looking for? Only level 7 currently
ddo is so gear dependant any build can work fine if you have it.
What’s the general weapon set? Quarter staffs? 2 sceptors?
I did the two rogue at lvl 1 and lvl 9 with a +20 heart and did not get the wizard enhancement trees. So.. I decided to tr as a pure wizard. This gives me 3 past cleric( I was originally a healer heh) 2 past wizard. 1 past fighter. I have a past Druid but it’s not showing as a past. 🤔
I would like to see someone do PM Wiz xbow build epic content ready.
I realize this is an older post and you may not be checking comments anymore but i am new to the game and on a laptop any tips for managing all those action bars
So I sort my bars so that I don't need more than 8.
I use 3 bars for combat skills (fireball, trip, actionboosts), 3 for buffs/abilities I don't need in combat (greater heroism, remove curse, open lock), and two for travel items and random store crap.
I use the keybinding system to bind my first 3 bars entirely. Bar 1 is 1 to 0, bar 2 is right underneath and is Shift + (1 to 0), and then the third bar is extra keys. R, f, t, c, v + shift variations. I find 30 keybinds is enough.

Does Shroud of the Wraith's incorporeality stack with deep gnome perm blur?
My current is gnome n palemaster if no answer can try n test.
Blur is concealment bonus, and incorporeality is incorporeality bonus. They stack.
Blur and displacement do not stack, but both stack with incorporeality.
Is there a guide for what quest you did or just did random quest?

So you get paid by more than just Donations on twitch?
Not currently, but I am working out deals with some sponsors. In the interrim, subscriptions and bits/donations are always appreciated. As well I am looking for a youtube model that might work as well.
Dunno about R10 first life....that's a little bit far fetched.

My guild leader built a first life palemaster to test the changes. He gets 1300 HP and 120+ enchant and necro Dcs using magister. It can be done, but it requires heavy gearing and investment.
@@Strimtom Sure! But for 90 percent of people or more just not practical.
P.s My prob at the moment is server pop. I could lvl solo but it's a pretty mundane task.
Also having played since the game started off an on if you leave for a few years the gulf in reaper points n gear is huge. My current palemaster is exactly like yours so agree with everything u say but as this toon is first life n lvl 13 am pretty sure most will be able to manage is R4 (depends on the group but have tried on one toon n the spell DC's n your mrr etc means it's a slog, easier for casters ofc melee is worse. Have a lvl 24 bard and struggling with on R4).
Also the lack of shrouds is hampering when I left had done 20 runs on one toon that got deleted so had to redo another main char sadly (real bummer).
