The 4 of us are 100% live as you can hear, no big post production than some corrections in the mix which was done live by Federico Pennazzato. We use keys and bg's on tape since we would need 3 more musicians to match everything we do on the albums. It is very common for any pro band to do this in order to sound live without sacrificing the studio arrangements.

I'm confused. Is Edge of Forever the name of the band? If not, what is it? Because there was also a Lynyrd Skynyrd cover band by that name. That's actually how I got here.

Well, bg’s and keys (apart from solos which I play) is pretty obvious that they’re on tape. But guitars, well, that you got wrong:-) if you listen you can easily hear that there’s one guitar and that’s it. The 4 musicians you see are 100% live, mixed basically on the go and like tons of other bands, yes, we do use backing tracks:-)

As far as guitars are concerned, when he takes his solo, I believe I can still hear rhythm guitar in the background. Also, I am fully aware that bands routinely use background tracks these days. More often than not in fact. Just poking a little fun here...as I hope the :-) made clear.
