@@ZeroGravityFuneral Reese Bass isn't a sub. If it were you wouldn't be using unison. Need that subby base in mono. For God is One do you see and understand? History/His Story. Need a Chief Cornerstone in order to Capstone. Nah mean? Sheeeit probably not.
@@jonnyidle that's what fab filter linear phase is for and also 99.999999% of humans can not even hear that smallest amount of phase shift in the low mids. literally 95% of major artists do it as ive witnessed many first handed in mentor sessions and just watching them produce in person or via live stream
@goneastraymusicofficial yeah you could use linear phase, and you are right, and the dip in low mids could be desirable! But I was just just pointing out that 'cleanest option' is not necessarily correct. Linear phase introduces its own potential problems with artifacts and latency.
Yea ofc, I created 10 different Serum presets based on youtube videos and my own tweaks. The real challange is to get them mixed into a fucking song or drop. Sounds cool on its own yea sure but get it mixed right into a song is fucking rocket science.
I decrease volume of bass in the mixer to around 60/100%, apply OTT, depth 48%, boost lows slightly, cut high slightly, then I adjust out gain to match the volume I want, typically around 56% out gain, since lowering volume on the mixer. I learned this from my favorite artist, BACKWHEN. He's got RUclips videos making beats. He has like 20 streams of him making really solid wave/ electronic music, and he consistently utilizes Reese bass in his tracks. Just check out his songs, islands, or constellations. You'll hear how clean his Reeses are 🤌
I see you stole the idea from Mercurial Tones Academy youtube channel, they were the first to put the exact same video out. At least give credit where it's due.
great tip
THANK YOU!!!
You could also play with fine tuning, it creates such a cool phasing effect with waves!
Never let your subs phase in and out

how did this come up on my feed when i was literally looking for the exact explanation on how to stop it from being so inconsistent
Cut lows and use separate sub for cleanest option.
Disagree, as you are introducing phase shifts in the low mids ie notches or peaks with the filtered version in parallel

You also forgot to add the sub oscillator after removing the fundamental, very important step.
why is that? to add the sub frequencies? What if you create another track for the subfrequencies only?
@@erminioottone5518both methods work, but separate sub is better imo
He uses 2 oscillators in this clip. He only removed fundamental from one of them. The second still has one. So.. You're wrong
GOD TIP
isnt the most important characteristic of reese basses the fact that the oscillators or slightly detuned from eachother? you didnt do that...
Saw is the old way ...use a sine
why?
@erminioottone5518 check out sine compression bass and then comment afar you think . Hope this helps some new people.
You straight up stole this video from another creator. Get some original content bro
facts, just saw the original before this.
Wait really? Which creator? I have to flag this video if that's true because that's not okay and against guidelines.
Right I was hoping to hear something new but its literally the exact same
this is such a good serum tip in general ❤
