If I had one desert island soap/splash/edt it would be Tabac. Great video Todd.

Nice video--especially with the German intro.
The performance of the Tabac soap is top-notch. One morning after a use of Tabac soap, aftershave and cologne I went to my habitual barbershop, which is adjacent to a cigar shop. This cigar shop usually has customers having a smoke and conversation when open, and has a large humidor. Its odor permeates the adjacent barber shop. I noticed that it smelled EXACTLE like my Tabac.
On subsequent visits to this barber shop, when I did not use Tabac, it still reeked of the same cigar shop scent, so the aroma of Tabac, which means 'tobacco' in German, apparently is that of a good (?) cigar.
Thanks! Yes. I consider myself a Tabac evangelist. It is definitely an acquired taste.

Sounds like the EdT/balm better match the shave soap, from which I get zero citrus or neroli. I just discovered the soap (love it), and have the balm and EDT on order. Thanks for the vid!
Excellent review! I’ve used the shave soap, and I was very impressed with it. The after shave smells very old-school, but it is very pleasant. I’m going to buy the EDC and try that. Thank you so much for the review!

I'll give my Tabac a try after watching this. I can appreciate the scent only so often, but it's been years. Mainly I wanted to say thanks for the honorable mention of Noxzema. I miss it a lot and wonder why no one wants to clone it. I'm just glad Prep comes as close to it as it does. (Prep soap was similar in scent but wasn't that good, and they stopped making it.) The last Noxzema was also made in Italy if memory serves. Probably just a coincidence, but worth noting just the same.
They are making it again - regular Noxema that is. I ordered it from Walgreen's online.

I just purchased the aftershave lotion and love it. Which is closer to the aftershave lotion EDC or EDT
EDC in my opinion
Very good review. do you think than the Eau de cologne smells close to the original or vintage formual ? I mean if despite the reformulations, this product is still worth or if you still feel the original DNA of the vintages. Thank you very much. Greetings from Mexico.
I do not have a vintage bottle, so I am not sure how they compare. I give the scent notes break down and my preference between the EDT & EDC in the video.
I’m using tabac original shower gel as well as original deodorant and after shave as well as shaving foam. And I want to add perfume as well so kindly help me out on which one to choose EDC or EDT which can complement my other tabac product scent..
I think the EDC is smoother. The EDT has a sharpness I do not care for. I talk about it in the video. I sold my EDT and kept the EDC.

Cool format. Different and fun. Not a lot of rules for DE shaving, but "don't move the razor side to side" across the face. :-)
