I have been Delta Platinum Medallion for more than 10 years. This week we also flew American Airlines Premium Economy, B-788, returning from Barcelona to Philadelphia. Delta is doing everything it can to lose my loyalty and business, and let me say, this American flight was nothing less than superb. I have flown Air France First Class internationally, countless airlines in Business class, and too many in economy. The American seat was the best I have ever rested my tush on. Service was excellent, food was very good. Full sized, metal utensils for meals. Excellent beverage selection. It was one of the most comfortable flights I've ever been on. I for one plan on going out of my way to fly American in the future. Excellent video, I'm actually happy I did not view it prior to our flight, and allowed me to form my own opinion. Thank you Mr Flyer, and thank you American.
I've done AA long haul Premium Economy once (LHR-DFW) and it was great - comfortable seat (bulkhead), good food, plenty of drinks, friendly FAs. For a 10 hour flight I'd say it's definitely worth it. Have you watched cockpit videos on YT - wonder if that would help with fearful flying?
It was comfortable and worth it for me at the right price point! Aviation RUclips videos are a tool I used a lot to get back to flying after I developed panic attacks. They helped me face my fear slowly and look at me now! Thanks for watching
