Such an interesting track, and a massive underappreciated one, just like the entire album. If only people actually gave it a chance, instead of directory critizing, because it's a new lead. No matter what era I'll always support Genesis', All the best legends 💙👑

@@Fernandokojo yes,and bringing ray wilson in as a kind of 'singer for hire' and not as a genesis member,that would have made a massive difference,because its tainted as a "genesis record" now,people just cant seem to accept it,i really like the album,its better than it credited!

To be honest, "Calling All The Station" for me makes good part of the evolution of Genesis. Ray Wilson has a good voice. The rest of the band makes everything possible now to be appreciated. Genesis Forever ❤.

fans should admit this album was good, ray stepped into a position not everyone would've dared, stand where both peter gabriel & phil collins stood, and i respect him for that.

A typical Tony Banks track--a dark, forboding song about alienation. Great stuff. If it's not the best of Genesis, it's still better than most other music out there!
Great song, one of my faves from CAS.
This is a classic Genesis song for me, it features most of what you would expect, pretty chords, sleazy chords, big changes, visual music, long synth introduction and more, only problem is that the sound of this track already stops many fans from enjoying it, as well as the slow build up, but overall, i think that this is very special, with one drummer for one half and another for the second half, this is the only Genesis track that actually gives credits to 2 drummers at the studio (not talking live here) as well as featuring Mike changing from bass to electric guitar for the second part while playing it live.
Well, not quite. Anto switched from bass to guitar and played a lead solo at the end of the song while Mike played rhythm.

@@antster1983 I still stand correct, Mike changed from Bass to Electric Guitar, never did i say that he played a solo, learn to read before correcting people all the time.
This has Tony Banks all over it with great guitar fills by Mike. One of the best tracks on this album. The second half of the track is particularly strong.
Such a classic and one that is truly iconic as well as legendary. A song and album that deserves a lot more recognition, truly underrated and underapperciated during there later days. Which no matter the era or time, Genesis will always live on big, and always stood out big. Music with emotion and feelings, not just words. Music like no other, music so unique, its better felt than explained with so much endless things to say. 🐐👑💙
Simply the best song on the "Calling All Stations" album!
So great to have this underrated album now officially represented here, especially as it is not in Spotify. So undeservingly unloved by a lot of people, it's actually one of the records I come back to most often in my life and one of my favorites on car travels by night.

Je trouve que c'est 1 composition assez solide...la Musique est plutôt sombre,mélancolique mais Puissante...je pense que la chanson a été écrite pour la voix + grave de Ray Wilson...elle colle parfaitement bien avec l’Atmosphère Singulière (voir Mystérieuse)de ce Titre de l’Album ! 🎸🎹🥁🎤👽🔥👋✌❣🇧🇪

I wish I would have heard of this when it came out. I find out about it so many years after it came out.
I made a comment on another track that if Rutherford would put his bass line abilities back to work this would be an even better line up.
This track proves I was right.
They should have stayed together. This singer is awesome. He has range and texture and layers to his voice.
This line up should have triggered Hackett to to at least attempt a return. These guys are great.
