I love people who are well-spoken and take time to make you understand their point of view. Ubab' Hlabisa should have been a President of IFP from a long time ago, things would have been different for the party. Great interview Bra Dave. I won't vote for IFP. We still see it as a Zulu party. Until that stigma is removed and I see their works in all provinces, that is when I will vote for them.
I still carry that anger, ANC killed my father who was the first mayor of imbabazane Municipality in 2002. Some people died after as retaliation and I was accused that I know those people who paid revenge for him. I was only 22 years old and they tried to kill me few times. I moved to durban to study and I lives at the hostel, but I was not safe, my lecture help me to get in the program to go overseas, luckily God was with me I went through and I did not go home because of safety, I fled south africa for America. Since I left South Africa, I've never came back, I'm on my mid 40s now and I miss my siblings so bad but I got my mother visa in 2016, my mom came over for the first time to see me after so many years. And my kids were happy see their grandmother. But it still hurts so bad , I miss my home 😭😭😭😭
One of the ways you rate a leader is when deep down he believes in the parties manifesto and not just regagitating words. He cares and is deeply moved by things that are close to him. He is quite knowledgeable about history and is well aware where his party lies in history and is very careful in terms of how he answers his question as to not harm the brand but show the party is under a capable leader. A good interview by you Mr Mashabela.
I was there at Meet Makaar. It was clear by then that we have a leader here. My eldest brother always asks me how I knew this is presidential material as early as 2012!
All we know is that Inkosi Buthelezi grew an ambition and trappings of greed engulfed him as he was peers with the homelands leaders. For the benefit of those who don't know, the ANC trusted Buthelezi even as people in townships complained of IFP killing squads (Romeo's and Gcina, Daluxolo Luthuli).
That is one of anc's propagandas. Ask yourself why anc is in fight with itself? YOU CAN NOT BUILD ON PROPAGANDA'S AND BLOOD OF YOUR OWN AND EXPECT THINNGS TO BE CRUZING NICELY.
Most people who grew up in the present of Prince Buthelezi you will recognize them by their behaviour the man who will stand for what he believed is right
The interesting part is how I am watching this after the elections and he was the one who seconded (Mr Hlabisa) the nomination of Mr Ramaphosa after uttering he will not build with a party that destroyed things in this country😬😬😬😬
The ANC constantly humbles itself before the people, now Mr Hlabisa seems to be joining the Malema chorus. I wonder if he is the right fibre to be filling the boots of such an astute predecessor. Hold your horses Ngotsha!
Rural people know this, and also the socio-economic situation in some areas. To be more specific, people who are economically free from the days of the IFP are IFP warlords and their relatives.
