I have to agree with you, Tati's vocals grabbed my full attention the first few listens. Concentrating on the music, Eugene's bass is standing out to me. Vlad and Roman are killing it too. First listen , I was waiting for Tati to bring in some cleans, but with that subject matter it makes sense that this would all harsh vocals, and this heavy as well.
a little harder than i typically prefer , but i "get it" , and is excellent at every level. this is definitely one of those that they talked about being "influenced by the events of the last couple of years" (Eugene's words from last summer, and reiterated earlier this year ... or at least something very close to that). 2 singles from the upcoming album, and already showing a huge range and still exploring new ground. by this point in their careers, a lot of bands are already settling in to the formulaic and predictable -- but certainly not these guys. continuing to level-up at every step.
the rogue is PUTIN! IMO his band has such musical potential that's incomparable.... I'm over 60, have been interested in music in different genres for 50 years, have been a musician myself for a long time, but Jinjer is something completely different... and I still don't know how to describe it.....??????? that's my problem in the last 8 years ;-) many thanx for your interest in this band and for your reaction! warm greetings from germany
Looking forward to seeing Hanabie again. They may not be the most polish band , but they are the best RAW band I have seen in years and exciting. Never know what they might do. LOL Jinjer has grown so much. Both bands deserve bigger Venues. coming to Houston on Oct. 6. bigger venue which holds around 2 to 3,000 or so.
Angry Jinjer is the best Jinjer. To be fair this song in particular is the closest they've ever come to AI generated music. The riffs are extremely random in a way that is almost nothing like they've written before.
Love those discordant guitars.

Unfortunately I haven't listened to this band enough.

…or, Option B, Vlad wrote as bombs were dropping on his town…
